CONCEPT — In this new age full of changes and concerns, new approaches and ways of looking at life are emerging and with them new needs. Seeking to care for our world while satisfying the demands of an ever wider and more knowledgeable audience is no longer simply an option. With all these changeovers, a new era of design is upon us. New more sustainable and durable materials are being created, and new designers are emerging to enrich our perception of what is functional, practical and aesthetic. Over the years, the foundations of the project we build have been laid. It is from our past that we draw the experience, the stable forms, the noble materials, the balance, the confidence conveyed and the implicit structure through which we experience our perception of a better designed environment. It is on this structural solidity that we rely on and from which we set off towards the construction of a posterity that is becoming less and less dream and more and more reality. Let us therefore, to show you our vision of a future through these samples of the present, which are in turn, reflections of what is to come.

Let’s look to the future from the bases laid in the past. Let’s redefine what design is and create something new, fresh and original, ready to go out into a new world.

CONCEPTO — En esta nueva época plena de transformaciones e inquietudes, nuevos planteamientos y formas de ver la vida están surgiendo y con ellas nuevas necesidades. Buscar cuidar de nuestro mundo mientras satisfacemos las demandas de un público cada vez más amplio y conocedor ya no es simplemente una opción.

Con todos estos cambios, una nueva era de diseño está próxima. Se crean nuevos materiales más sostenibles y duraderos, y surgen nuevos diseñadores llegados para enriquecer nuestra percepción de lo funcional, práctico y estético. Durante años se han fundado los cimientos del proyecto que construimos. Es de nuestro pasado de donde tomamos la experiencia, las formas estables, los materiales nobles, el equilibrio, la confianza transmitida y la estructura implícita a través de la cual experimentamos nuestra percepción de un entorno mejor diseñado. Es sobre esta solidez estructural que nos apoyamos y desde donde partimos hacia la construcción de una posteridad, que es cada vez menos sueño y más realidad. Permitan nos pues, mostrarles nuestra visión de un futuro a través de estas muestras de lo presente, que son a su vez, reflejos de lo que está por venir. INTRODUCTION — The creation of a different collection, at the same time focused on everyday life. Ease was born under this premise. A collection made to attend to those moments of joy and relaxation.

The bathroom is a unique space in the home, the only room where you can be alone and have privacy. You start and end your day in this space, so it is created a collection that works as a base for those moments of well-being. Understanding then the bathroom as that place of retreat and introspection, the pieces of a collection that enhances the functionality and simplicity as the pillars of their designs were created. When you enter this space you expect to disconnect from the world, to have your own habitat where everything is familiar and simple, where pleasure is given by performing basic actions through simple gestures, away from the complexities and hustle of the outside.

Ease tries to capture happiness through naturalness and simplicity. Basic forms, uniformity and a palette of soft and cozy materials; make Ease’s designs an invitation to relaxation.

INTRODUCCIÓN — La creación de una colección distinta, a la vez que enfocada en la vida cotidiana. Bajo esa premisa nació Ease. Una colección hecha para atender esos momentos de dicha y relajación.

El baño es un espacio único en el hogar, la única habitación en la que puedes estar solo y tener privacidad. Empiezas y acabas tu día en este espacio por lo que se crea una colección que funciona como base para esos momentos de bienestar. Entendiéndose entonces el baño como ese lugar de recogimiento e introspección, se crearon las piezas de una colección que potencia la funcionalidad y simplicidad como los pilares de sus diseños. Al entrar en este espacio esperas desconectar del mundo, tener tu propio hábitat donde todo sea familiar y sencillo, donde el placer viene dado por la realización de acciones básicas a través de gestos simples, lejos de las complejidades y ajetreo del exterior.

Ease trata de capturar la felicidad a través de la naturalidad y sencillez. Formas básicas, uniformidad y una paleta de materiales suaves y acogedores; hacen que los diseños de Ease se presenten como una invitación a la relajación.

A CLASSICAL LEGACY PASSED ON THROUGH ARCHITECTURE.

EN — A reinterpretation of the premises of Greek architecture brought to the present by Patrick Norguet through an exercise of synthesis of its basic characteristics. The principle of vertical grooving that gave a sense of sobriety and slenderness to the Greek ancient buildings is applied on a smaller scale within this collection. The collection is made of bold and monolithic objects where the forms seek to be based on the principles of harmony and proportion, but whose details contrast with the grooving that runs through their figures, giving them a dynamic and vibrant character.

ES — Una reinterpretación de las premisas de la arquitectura griega trasladada al presente mediante un ejercicio de síntesis de sus características básicas. El principio del ranurado vertical que otorgaba una sensación sobria y esbelta a las construcciones se logra implementar a una escala más pequeña dentro de la colección.

Se crean así objetos audaces y monolíticos cuyas formas buscan con ímpetu asentarse en los principios de la armonía y la proporción, pero cuyos detalles contrastan con este ranurado que recorre sus figuras aportándoles un carácter dinámico y vibrante.

CONTRAST BETWEEN LIGHTS AND SHADOWS.

EN — There is something soothing and elegant about repetition and the continuing contrast between light and shadow. The linear rhythm has always been a strong intervention in historical design and classical architecture, so by implementing this element in furniture design we manage to recreate a fraction of this feeling in a smaller scale. Normally grates are experienced in a much more industrial and rougher environment, but by continuing the detail of the repetitive line, the cabinets become design objects themselves. This gives endless possibilities in expressions regarding the use of materials and textures.

ES — Hay algo relajante y elegante en la repetición y el continuo contraste entre luces y sombras. El ritmo lineal siempre ha sido una fuerte intervención en el diseño histórico y la arquitectura clásica, por lo que al implementar este elemento en el mobiliario logramos recrear una fracción de este sentimiento en una escala más pequeña. Normalmente, las rejillas están presentes en un entorno mucho más industrial y brusco. Sin embargo, la aplicación del detalle de esta línea repetitiva sobre los módulos hace que se conviertan en objetos de diseño ofreciendo infinitas posibilidades en expresiones relacionadas con el uso de materiales y texturas.

Strato is a combination of wall mounted units and cabinets. The customization of this range offers different casing and exterior possibilities for the vanity units, based on the selection of the drawer opening system and the design choice for the sides of the unit. Drawer units are available in different finishes like: Matt lacquer, Textured lacquer, Glossy Lacquer; S1, S3 and S4 Woods; and MDi.

ES — Strato es un extenso programa modular de formas minimalistas que permite adaptar el proyecto de cada profesional al espacio deseado. EN — Rigorous but gentle. Paral is the pursue of a conclusion in bathroom area. Far away from passing fashion, its cared proportions are timeless solutions that define this collection as subtlety worked with an iconic character.

Parallel lines are generated by vertical handles built with innovative materials that convert the collection into an architectural must.

This collection is a combination of washbasins, wall mounted units and cabinets. The construction system for the units in this collection is entirely mitred; fronts with sides and top, as well as sides with top.

The different washbasin types are available in Solidsurface, UHS Colour Coating or Marble. Drawer units are available in five different finishes: Matt lacquer, Textured lacquer, Glossy Lacquer, S3 and S4 woods.

ES — Amable y riguroso Paral es la búsqueda de una conclusión en el hábitat del baño. Alejado de modas pasajeras sus cuidadas proporciones y atemporales soluciones integran esta colección es un ejercicio de sutileza, pero con un marcado carácter icónico. EN — Background. Roots. Origin implies the beginning of craftsmanship and industry through the different fabrication of wood, metal or glass… amalgamating each one to perfectly establish each element. The silhouette of Ceramilux washbasins reminds the potter that moulded the vase, like the marble reminds the sculptor, carving his work. It surrounds itself in a traditional and cultural atmosphere. Every element is carried out with total precision, dedication and artistic style. The details of the radii, forms or moulds all directly implicate the craftsman in the result of each piece. Origin forms strong bonds with eastern culture, which is reflected in its use, its proportions and its designer: Seung-Yong Song …its origin…

ES — Significa el origen, las raíces. Hace referencia al principio de la artesanía y la industria a través de las diferentes manufacturas aplicadas sobre la madera, el metal o el cristal… encajando unos con otros hasta conseguir con precisión cada elemento. La silueta de los lavabos en Ceramilux recuerda al alfarero que moldeaba sus vasijas, así como en mármol al escultor que tallaba sus obras. Todo ello nos envuelve en una atmósfera tradicional y de cultura. Todos los elementos están realizados con mucha dedicación, precisión y arte. Los detalles de los radios, las molduras o formas implican al artesano de forma directa con el resultado obtenido de cada pieza.
