Those services include market studies, market information, business research, business matchmaking, technical workshops, conferences, and the organisation of exclusive business delegations. GTDEE’S PARTNER COMPANIES AND EDUCATION INSTITUTES IN 2025

GTDEE service portfolio

The German-Thai Dual Excellence Education Programme (GTDEE) focuses on developing Thai youth into professional technicians under the supervision of certified in-company trainers (AdA International), by using a highquality, transparent, and reliable Dual Vocation Education and Training (DVET) system. This is achieved in Thailand through collaboration with various stakeholders and through support for sustainable development within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The GTDEE development programme is based on competencies in German standard, the Thai DVET system and a project-based learning approach, administered by the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC), in which trainees gain practical experience in companies while also attending technical colleges. The colleges address theoretical aspects linked to practical tasks relevant to the profession and teaches general education subjects such as communication techniques, English for professional purposes, mathematics, and social studies.

From the start, the aim is to implement a sustainable training structure in line with the German model.

Learning content from the German general training plan and framework curriculum has been adapted to fit the context of the Thai Dual Vocational Education and Training (DVET) structure. GTDEE/GTCC has identified Thai training content that is equivalent to the German training framework. This has resulted in company-driven demand for a DVET programme that follows German training regulations and includes recognised qualifications.

Activities planned for 2026

The activities planned for 2026 are related to the sustainable development of dual vocational education and training in Thailand. Since education is an ongoing development process, GTDEE will continue to refine dual vocational education and training standards in Thailand, with the goal of sustainability, in order to support Thailand’s vocational education system in becoming a hub within ASEAN. GTDEE maintains a strong commitment to stakeholders based on trust and transparency throughout the entire process, including the sharing of experiences with other German Chambers of Commerce (AHKs) abroad. The planned activities are listed as follows:
