Fort Lauderdale Boat Show Debuts SolarPowered ELCAT Electric Catamaran With 1.3kW Motor
The ELCAT Electric Boat is a 6-person inflatable catamaran powered entirely by grid and solar power.
Its debut at the FLIBS 2023 is set to be one of the event highlights, with hundreds of boating enthusiasts and environmentalists expected to be in attendance.
The boat boasts an array of innovative features, including a state-of-the-art propulsion system, DFW drop stitch construction, and a transom motor. Its most impressive feature, however, is its high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, which offer an extended run time and eliminate the need for traditional fossil fuels.
The FLIBS 2023 - which runs from October 25 to 29 at multiple locations across Fort Lauderdale - attracts over 100,000 visitors & 1,000 exhibitors from around the globe each year.
