OUR EXCLUSIVE FEATURE WITH ACTRESS JORDAN COLEMAN
LEADING MAN
ZANE CARTER INCOGNITO WALK IN LV MENSWEAR THRU LA.

Acommon thread among our photo teams is a refusal to stay in one lane. We have photographers who are also models; hairstylists who are also photographers; models who are also stylists, and stylists who are also photographers.
A perfect example is our cover shoot. I asked photographer Gabriella Oltean to shoot actress Jordan Coleman—and in the process, got a two-fer. Gabriella had recently been a model for photographer Monica Baddar, and between shots, the two conjured up with the idea of working together as a photo duo, à la Mert & Marcus. Our shoot became their debut—and the images speak for themselves. Four eyes, as it turns out, are better than two. Adding to our team of dual-threats that day was Ani Mun, the model who is also a stylist (or vice-versa depending on the hour—more on that later), who dressed Jordan in a vibrant mix of Libertine, Oscar de la Renta, and Area (p90)

Jordan was glammed by Marcia Hamilton (hair), and Ksenia Reshetnikova of The Artists Collective (makeup). The story was shot against the mid-century architectural backdrop of my friend Isabel Madison’s new Beverly Hills home. Isabel is the brilliant founder of Nude Envie, the super popular cosmetic line sold at Neiman Marcus, and one of our gracious event sponsors.
Let’s back up for a sec to share the origin story of how we first met Jordan Coleman. Last month, when she arrived at our GENLUX issue release party—it was one of those rare moments when everyone stopped, stared, and asked, Who is that? So when her publicist, Anna Kreynes, approached us about featuring Jordan, the answer was an obvious yes.
Days later, we traipsed back to Isabel’s home, where we paired a striking blue McLaren 750S convertible with CHANEL ’s Spring/ Summer ‘26 collection. This time, Ani Mun dual-roled as both stylist and model. The team was led by photog Andrew Matusik (who wears far too many hats to mention), Robert Steinken
(hair) and Leibi Carias (makeup), both with Celestine (p60)
A few weeks ago, we found ourselves at Chris Collins’ Desert Dog House—a striking six-bedroom Joshua Tree oasis, complete with pickle ball court. For day one of our twoday shoot, Louis Vuitton shipped its Spring/ Summer ‘26 collection directly from New York to our remote California location. Model slash stylist slash photographer Joline Towers shot model Julia U of Bounty Models, this time styled by Ani, with Steinken on hair and Lynn Taylor on makeup (p78) . Lynn’s other hat is her accessory company called Penelope’s Parasols.
On day two, roles seamlessly shifted— Robert stepped behind the camera with his photo tech, Rachael Davis (who, yes, is also a stylist—and a union one at that), while Joline put on her styling hat to curate the swim/fashion story (p50)
Meanwhile in New York, two beautiful fashion stories emerged. One is this artsy (in a good way) feature courtesy of Jessie Ajluni, who wore three hats that day (stylist, propmaster, and art director), on a clever, old-school-style studio shoot complete with a painted backdrop from Brooklyn’s legendary Oliphant Studio. Also on set was shooter Gail Job Calderon, model Faith V of APM Models, Mary Irwin (makeup), and Louis Angelo (hair)—both with Judy Casey. Retoucher Pauline Petrishina polished the images to perfection (p40)
New York stylist/producer Mimi Lombardo introduced us to photographer Stockton Johnson—an inspired choice. Mimi’s team included model Izzy Wild, Wilhelmina, Peter Gray, The Home Agency (hair), Regina Harris (makeup), and Fantic Dimur (set design). This story was set at the forever accommodating Blonde Studio (p30) . When all is said and done, it’s less about our team players wearing many hats—and more about knowing they were all made to measure. G

When Pamela Anderson and Flamingo Estate founder Richard Christiansen first met, their shared passion for gardens, gastronomy, and giving back took root in something beautiful—and delightfully unexpected: a pickle. But not just any pickle. Pamela’s Pickles— a spicy, floral mélange infused with purpose-driven empathy for animals.
The small-batch creation, inspired by Anderson’s cherished family recipe, sold out not once but three times, ultimately raising $200,000 for animal sanctuaries including the California Wildlife Center, The Gentle Barn, and Return to Freedom.
Every dollar earned from the pair’s limited-release “garden explosion in a jar,” went directly to continuing Anderson’s lifelong crusade for creatures great and small.
This month, Flamingo Estate and Pamela launched one last Winter Edition, benefiting Save the Chimps, one of the world’s largest chimpanzee sanctuaries, founded in 1997. “It’s been a wild pickle journey,” says Christiansen. “I’m so grateful to Pamela.” Pamela, adds, “I hope most people know of my lifelong dedication and advocacy for vulnerable beings that all started with the kindness and empathy I have felt towards animals. I have learned over the years that lessons come in unexpected places. So, Flamingo Estate and I joined forces and with a smile and a love of pickles and roses. I hope we have made a difference in a few hearts and minds, and were able to make some (I hope many) animal’s lives a little better. Thank you for honoring our crusade by purchasing our pickles.” G

STORY BY STEPHEN KAMIFUJI PHOTOS BY ANDREW MATUSIK
hree women. One mission. Endless inspiration. Wellness Babes is what happens when three powerhouse women decide that health should feel joyful, grounded, and deeply empowering—not confusing, punitive, or reserved for people with perfect schedules and spotless pantries.
Co-founded by Julie DelaBarre, Ragan Wallake, and Brianna Brown Keen, Wellness Babes is an ongoing wellness collective designed to support vitality, longevity, and whole-body health in the reality of modern life. Members receive access to a 12-module wellness curriculum—spanning science-based nutrition, cooking foods that truly nourish, emotional well-being, goal setting, mindset, and sustainable habit change—alongside a monthly live Zoom Q&A with the Wellness Babes themselves. It’s part classroom, part kitchen table, part soul circle, all in service of one thing: helping women feel good so they can do good.
Ragan is the creative heartbeat of the trio, a lifelong storyteller and certified holistic nutritionist who has turned her love of food, beauty, and elevated living into Ragan’s Kitchenette and her cookbook, Beauty in the Bite. “I see myself as the curator of the home we’ve built together—the one who brings it to life,” she says. “I design the meals, layer in beauty, and infuse every detail with warmth, intention, and a touch of whimsy.”
For her, wellness is not just about what’s on the plate, but how it feels to be in the room: the way a table is set, the music playing, the sense that nourishment can be both grounding and a little bit magical. Sleep, she insists, is non-negotiable—her ultimate beauty and wellness secret. “If I’m not well-rested, nothing else lands—energy, mood, skin, focus,” she says. “True beauty, to me, starts with honoring rest and letting the body do what it’s designed to do: repair, reset, and glow from the inside out.”
If Ragan is the curator, Brianna is the ignition switch. An award-winning actress known for roles in Dynasty, Devious Maids, Homeland, and Outer Banks, she is also the founder of The New Hollywood non-profit, and the host of the Manifesting Your Mission podcast. “Everything I build lives at the intersection of purpose, power, and possibility,” she says. “I see where people are playing small—and I help them break through it.” Her Wellness Babes superpower is translating big vision into tangible, aligned action: systems,
habits, and mindset shifts that actually stick. The work is deeply personal. Her father passed away in his 50s from cancer, and her mother is in memory care with an autoimmune disease decades too soon—a reality that sharpened her devotion to preventative, functional wellness. “Health is not a luxury—it’s the foundation,” Brianna says. “When we feel good, we move differently. We choose differently. We become available for our purpose.” Through Wellness Babes, she’s determined that her son—and the women she serves— inherit a different story.
Julie is the science and soul of the operation, a clinical nutritionist specializing in oncology and women’s health whose journey began as a professional dancer at age 10. Early experiments with trendy diets taught her that knowing what’s “healthy” and living it are not the same; her studies in nutrition science and neuroscience, combined with meditation, helped her decode the emotional and physiological roots of behavior. After having two children, she entered fitness competitions as a personal vow never to abandon her own well-being again. “To me, true health isn’t a dress size, but a state of happiness from which everything else flows,” Julie says. Her superpower is deceptively simple and wildly potent: “I give others superpowers.” She does this through oncology nutrition and programs like AnticancerX, through her Feminine Physique platform, and through the tools she brings into Wellness Babes—whether that’s infrared sauna blankets, or the quieter practices of meditation, and self-compassion.
This dynamic trio has engineered a space where wellness is anchored in science yet amplified by story, ritual, and community. The 12-module Wellness Babes program is flexible enough to live alongside real jobs, real families, and real life. Each module helps women understand how their bodies work, how their kitchens can become laboratories of joy, and how their mindset and habits can be re-wired to support long-term vitality rather than short-term fixes. Monthly live Zoom Q&As keep the experience human and accountable—they’re there, in real time, answering questions, troubleshooting, and cheering women on.
Together, the Wellness Babes are like a three-course meal for your life—mind, body, and spirit—but somehow you always leave the table feeling nourished, lighter, and ready for seconds. G

Who’s that Girl?
FROM BULLIED SCHOOLGIRL TO BREAKOUT ACTRESS, JORDAN COLEMAN ’S SHOWING UP FOR HERSELF—AND FOR EVERY BIRACIAL GIRL WHO EVER FELT “TOO MUCH” OR “NOT ENOUGH.” NOW, AS OUR STEPHEN KAMIFUJI FINDS, WHEN JORDAN WALKS INTO THE ROOM, EVERYONE TAKES NOTICE.
Sunrise spills through the 23rd-floor windows of a midtown Atlanta high-rise, painting the room in soft gold as Jordan Coleman curls up in a pair of wildly colorful “technically pajama” pants that look far more designer than their Amazon origins. She’s here filming her series-regular role as Cheyenne Barnes in Season 10 of Tyler Perry’s hit series, Sistas , and she’s exhausted from the gym—15,000 steps is the daily goal, even on an “off” day—and she’s cradling a stuffy nose courtesy of Atlanta’s notorious pollen, which she swears sits “an inch thick” on every car.

Quincy—changed everything for that month: Would she do a music video called “Snuggle Up”? It paid, improbably, $500. She said yes. The check cleared. She stayed in LA. Between Postmates runs, nights working the door at clubs, and long days as background talent on set, she built a life—slowly, then all at once. Background turned into PA work, then into jobs at a production company, then into the acting roles she had always chased. “I didn’t get a big break when I moved to LA,” she says. “I started from the ground up.”
Jordan is a Florida-raised, LA–based actor who has hustled from background work to series regular. She embodies that modern, multidimensional kind of stardom. “I would describe myself as ambitious, disciplined, empathetic, curious, and happy,” she says, lingering on that last word as if trying it on one more time. Happiness, for Jordan, isn’t an accident; it’s a routine. It’s making the bed every morning— wisdom passed down from her grandmother—because that small act sets the tone for everything that follows. It’s the gym sessions, the Pilates, the hikes, the refusal to pour from an empty cup. “I do so much for myself that my cup is always full,” she explains. “So when I meet people, I can give them my best self.”
Her best self was forged in a world of uniforms and orders. Jordan calls herself a “southern baby through and through,” born in South Carolina and raised in the Florida Panhandle as an only child, where nearly every adult in her orbit wore Air Force blue. Her mother works in high-level security clearance, and her uncle is in the explosive ordinance department. “I have some heavy hitters in my family,” she says with a laugh. “I love what they do—but it could not be me.”
From that regimented family universe, Jordan took structure, not fear. She still calls home three, sometimes four times a day, where her mother is “my best friend.” When she was eight, a man she now calls her dad stepped into her life, married her mother, and later adopted her. Her biological father, whom she hasn’t spoken to in roughly two decades, signed the papers willingly. “If another man wants to do what I couldn’t do, then I’m all for it,” he told her mother. The clean break allowed Jordan to grow up in a space where love was chosen, not assumed—where loyalty was proven, not promised. Still, childhood wasn’t without its bruises. Growing up mixedrace in the Deep South meant rarely seeing herself reflected around her. There were Confederate flags and cross burnings, and peers who had inherited their parents’ prejudices long before they understood them. Bullying ensued to the point where faked stomach aches meant avoiding the words that hurt. Straighten her hair, and she’d be mocked. Blast country music, and it was “Why do you like that?”
She found refuge in a small tribe of other mixed kids—the only ones who understood the strange invisibility of being “too much” and “not enough” at the same time.
If there was an escape hatch, it glowed from the television screen. Disney Channel was her original masterclass: Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana, Vanessa Hudgens in High School Musical, all those behind-the-scenes clips she devoured on YouTube. “Watching them, I thought, ‘I swear those are the people—that’s what I want to do.’” Years later, she would make good on that promise to herself, but not without what she calls a healthy dose of “delulu”—that slightly delusional faith required to keep going when others might pack it in. At 21, she left Florida for Los Angeles with more drive than money. At one point, she had exactly $500 in her bank account, all of it earmarked for rent. A text from a friend—musician and actor
19934
If her family gave her courage, Los Angeles gave her community. She arrived expecting horror stories about a “fake” city and instead found a circle of older, fiercely hardworking friends who took her under their wing. They shared acting classes, book recommendations, workout sessions, networking events. They opened their homes when she needed a couch, picked up movie tickets and Six Flags passes when she couldn’t afford them, and insisted she show up anyway. “I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for the people who looked out for me,” she says.
That same instinct—to show up, quietly and consistently—for others shows up in the way she gives back. Jordan is the kind of person who will donate to a stranger’s GoFundMe at a scroll’s notice. “If I see someone in need, I’m donating at the drop of a hat,” she says. For nearly a decade, she’s also kept a recurring monthly donation to Plan International, supporting girls and women around the world with basic essentials. It’s not performative philanthropy; there are no grand speeches or social posts, just a line item on her bank statement and the quiet conviction that her success should ripple outward.
On set now, Jordan is known as much for her emotional depth as for her physicality. She sees future self leading an action movie as her destiny, casually but with absolute certainty. But it’s empathy that is her quiet superpower. “If you’re going to play someone struggling with addiction, you can’t judge them,” she says. “You have to ask, How did I get here? What’s around me? You become that person, and you take yourself out of it.”
That same tenderness shows up in how she talks to herself—or at least, how she’s learning to. Lately, she’s been working on being gentler, less punishing, allowing imperfection. “Sometimes you’re your own worst critic,” she admits. “You’re chasing perfection and you’re the first person you tear down. I’m trying to give myself grace.” Beauty, for Jordan, starts from the inside out. She’s a Whole Foods regular, the girl with kiwis and citrus in her cart, who believes you can “eat your skincare.” “If you’re feeding your body trash, how is your skin supposed to regenerate beautiful new cells?” she asks. Of course, she’ll still say yes to pizza on any given night—but Monday through Friday, she’s in a committed relationship with clean eating.
Ask Jordan about her spirit animal, and she lights up. “A sea turtle,” she answers instantly. “They’re majestic. They mind their business and stay out of drama. They live a long time, aging gracefully in the most beautiful oceans.”
Looking ahead, Jordan manifests herself on a different kind of set—sweat-drenched, heart racing, maybe with a harness digging into her waist as she runs a scene for an action film…or its sequel. It is, like so much of her life, a vision built on discipline, family, friendship, that instinct to give, and that little bit of delulu that has served her so well. The girl who once pretended to have stomach aches to avoid school bullies, who scraped together rent with music video checks, now watches the sunrise over Atlanta, preparing to step back into character on a series millions of people tune in to watch.

SWAROVSKI OVERSIZED CAT-EYE SUNGLASSES, $770, SWAROVSKI.COM
This season I’m drawn to the quiet power of restraint. Sculptural silhouettes, luminous whites, and clean lines create a calm, modern elegance. But what keeps it interesting are the playful touches—a flash of scarlet fringe, a floating yellow gown, or accessories that feel like little works of art. And then there’s the ring… my newest obsession. A gorgeous Chopard creation that feels both timeless and sculptural, catching the light with that effortless sparkle only the house seems to master. It’s the kind of jewel that doesn’t shout—it simply glows, elevating everything around it. Pure quiet luxury. My current crush? Swarovski figurines —tiny crystal creatures that bring just the right hint of whimsy. Don’t you just love them? The mood is polished yet joyful: refined, graphic, and just a little playful… just how I like it. Bisous mes chéris! —Samia

Imagine my surprise.
While casually flipping through the glossy pages of Town & Country , a riot of color leapt off the page so vividly I nearly had to shield my eyes. It wasn’t jewelry. It was a sugar rush!!!
Let me Digress.....
As a child, I remember standing in a toy store beside my mother when I spotted a tray of plastic rings in every imaginable hue.... electric pink, emerald green, sapphire blue. They shimmered beneath lights like a candy makers dream. I didn’t want to wear them. I wanted to eat them. They looked like the prettiest hard
candies in the world — jewel-toned, glossy, irresistible. That exact visceral thrill came rushing back the moment I saw the Suzy Landa ring collection. Bold. Playful. Decadent. Each ring feels like a grown-up answer to that childhood fantasy.... saturated gemstones framed in diamonds, set in glowing gold, unapologetically vibrant. There is something wildly whimsical about this collection, yet undeniably refined. It’s color therapy for the impeccably dressed. A celebration of joy you can slip onto your finger.
I swear one day I will own every single one of these radiant creations. I'll may even let you borrow one!!! Suzy Landy rings, prices upon request, suzylandanewyork.com

Ah, the gorgeous scent of amber and oud define the glow of golden hour. With Louis Vuitton Ambre Levant, master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud captures that warm transition from day to night. Bright mandarin opens the scent, followed by cinnamon and white pepper for a subtle spice. Resinous amber, incense, and ambergris create depth, while rare oud adds a refined woody signature. The luscious result is a modern, radiant interpretation of two classic Middle Eastern notes leaving the senses with warmth, depth and refined luxury. Ambre Levant, $ 440, louisvuitton.com

Beauty is not always created through action. Sometimes, it is restored through pause. In a culture that rewards constant motion, stillness can feel counterintuitive. Yet the skin, the nervous system, and the spirit require periods of regulated rest to function optimally.
- Ninka B., GENLUX
Beauty Contributor & Licensed Aesthetician
Recently, I immersed myself in the mineral hot springs of Palm Desert, a place where breath deepens and time slows. As an aesthetician, I often speak about active ingredients, clinical protocols, and consistency. Yet this experience reinforced a truth we do not emphasize enough. Rejuvenation begins with relaxation.
Warm mineral water gently increases circulation, supports lymphatic flow, and softens muscular tension. When stress hormones such as cortisol decrease, inflammation reduces. When the body feels safe, cellular repair becomes more efficient. The skin barrier, our primary defense system, functions best when the body is not in a chronic state of checking off a to-do list.
Ninka B. recommends: Biologique Recherche Masque Biosensible, $230, biologique-recherche.com

A calming mask that soothes reactive or sensitized skin and supports barrier stability.

True beauty is not created through rush. It is restored through rhythm. As we enter spring, I encourage you to approach rejuvenation not as something to add to your schedule, but something to allow within it.

Ninka B. recommends: Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, $225 sisley-paris.com
A luxurious mask that restores hydration and radiance, leaving the skin visibly rested and luminous.
intentional pauses into their routines, including structured rest, adequate sleep, and moments of stillness, respond differently to skin treatments. Their barrier integrity improves, and their skin’s glow becomes more balanced and sustained.
Ninka B. recommends: OSEA Vagus Nerve Oil, $48, oseamalibu.com
An aromatic blend formulated to support nervous system regulation, reinforcing the connection between stress reduction and skin health.
In skincare, true rejuvenation begins when the body is allowed to rest. Healthy skin reflects harmony. Spring invites us to choose wisely, to know when to incorporate active ingredients and when to allow moments of pause. That is where true beauty lies. Ninka B. @ninkaglam
