It has been a sincere privilege for our family to be a part of this sale and to witness the commitment from the sale’s consignors to each year find ways to make the genetic offering more improved. There is no better time to be Simmental Breeders as we continue to feel excitement for the real progress being made with the broad acceptance of our breed’s cattle both in seedstock as well as commercial operations. Reflecting on the cattle that have walked through the ring at recent national and State Fair Shows, the genetic improvement is becoming both noticed and recognized. Without question, the time is right to offer what we believe to be an industry-wide accepted set of quality cattle. We are especially proud of the efforts these past few months from our consignors to be able to produce and develop the exciting set of genetics found in these good 2025 Illini Elite cattle. As you get the chance to look at the heifer calves, you will find current genetics in heifers that phenotypically are built right and most certainly will compete! Preparing for and selecting the 2026 AJSA Classic heifers begins now so realize that these heifer calves are simply stellar! The bred division of females will be preceded by the complete sale of donor dam FC Quite Impressive consigned by Travis Farms, and 5 stellar pregnancy matings from Hillstown Farms, Huenefeld Simmental Farms, and Double J Ranch. Additionally, there will be elite embryos offered by Justin Lewis. Our bred division runs deep with a particularly high quality and well managed set of cattle and the effort by our breeders to have these females stuck to their AI dates. It is one of the highest % AI conceived sales that you as buyers will have a chance to participate in so help yourselves here! Elite Open Heifers It takes great genetics to make great cattle and that is exactly what you have with Natasha. We all now know of SO Remedy’s success in generating high end competitive cattle with style and shape and I can also look at her donor dam, HILB Price of Starin and can tell you she never has a time of the year where we are not amazed at her power and body and symmetry. Not surprising that 369N is a good one with both a balanced and full look and such a nice extended front end. This gal is extremely docile and gets tied first and on the end and also became our picture pen star leading new heifers for their videos. She loves the halter and my guess is she will like the backdrop too!

Just a tremendous cow in this young Sim-Angus female. I have always felt this good female was problem free and will make an especially high end cow when she’s done in the ring. Soft centered, good clean joints with give, and a robust upper rib and top shape are all phrases that depicts RS Notice’s phenotype. One cannot look at the Woodford sire without seeing his completeness and the apple did not fall far from the tree with this solid numbered daughter! Quality female here!

SO Remnant on a daughter to the Bramlett Beautiful A317! How do you like that?! This has been one of my favorite 2025 females coming out of that good SimAngus Conley No Limit dam with her extra substance and power. I love this one’s show ring presence with so much rib and top shape and she gets it honest with her natural density and is still good at the ground and able to give you that soundness that we so need in good functional cattle. Now here is a very nice female that rivals any of our top end heifers. Talk about a dense made, true built one, this is her! That RS Dakkota Donor dam behind her has made some good cattle for us and 1701N fits that bill too. I like her profile and her 3/4 view expressing her balance, trueness of her skeleton, and her natural shape. It just would not be an Illini Elite Sale without an offering of Hara’s Miss Princess 04B, “Hairietta” and this lower percentage one is by Here I Am. This girl has a lot of shape like you would expect from the Hairietta lineage not only through her hip but also down her top. 192N is not a little chunky one, rather she’s extended as you see in her picture and video. This is a dense made, good bodied, big back steer that is going to be a striking one in that Champion drive. By the shapely W/C Bankroll bull and out of a very nice Angus cow, this halfblood Sim could be one to have some fun with!

I do like this baldy steer for his big back and natural shape in his quarter even early on. This guy does get out and go with both some give and goes straight ahead in his joints. This is a full brother to the baldy 972N steer so another Coping With Destiny on the Price of Starin donor and is this a good one too! This guy has some look and no doubt some turn to his top and shape down through his quarter and to his twist. Looks like a really fresh one to feed and let him put it on for you. I like this guy’s potential to get good especially for next year’s county and state fairs!

This is a very good purebred steer by Coping With Destiny and out of donor cow TL Mercy so no doubt the genetics are there for this steer to be a good one. He’s most definitely on the right track with his natural width of quarter and early shape, and width of loin and fullness of top. Definitely this is a steer that balances up and looks proportionate so consider Niko a competitor! I really like this one!

This is a very attractive young purebred steer by Woodford and out of a beautiful baldy dam by a Schooley Pays to Believe son from Dennis Moore. This steer is impressing me more each day as he’s just startling to power up. He’s balanced at the profile, sound in his leg, and has enough shape and natural width for now. RS Nash also goes well when asked to move with plenty of flex. I like this guy and think he’ll compete in the Simmy steer ring!
