High School Seniors Honored at Military Signing Day Submitted Kirtland High School recognized five seniors who are committing to serve in the United States military during a Military Signing Day ceremony held on Friday, April 24, in The Forum. Family members, staff and peers gathered to honor the students’ decision to serve their country and celebrate this important next step following graduation. The students recognized included: • Izzy Copeland – Coast Guard • Ali Hooper – Air Force • Richard Pennza – ROTC Marine Corps • Cameron Treadwell – Army National Guard • Charlie Vignero – Air Force Military Signing Day ceremonies are held to recognize students who choose to enlist or pursue military
