International Admissions At the GDST, we combine academic excellence with an innovative, nurturing approach to education. Our schools are proud to welcome students from around the world, and we work hard to ensure a smooth transition for girls relocating to the UK. We welcome applications from international families and education consultants. Each school operates its own admissions process - please refer to individual school websites or contact us directly for guidance. Our Entry Points The main entry stages are: • Junior School: Reception (age 4), Year 3 (age 7) • Senior School: Year 7 (age 11), Year 9 (age 13) • Sixth Form: Year 12 (age 16) We may also accommodate students moving to the UK at other times, subject to availability. Please contact us to discuss school options. Our Admissions Process 1. Visit Us – Our schools host open days throughout the year and offer individual visits. Many also provide virtual tours online. 2. Registration – Applications are submitted online, and a registration fee applies. 3. Assessment and Interview – International applicants complete assessments in English and Maths and attend an interview with the Head or Senior Leader. Some schools may require additional assessments. References are requested from the student’s current school. 4. Offer – Places are confirmed upon acceptance and payment of the deposit.
Visa Sponsorship Our schools are licensed to provide visa sponsorship under the Child Student and Student routes. Sponsored pupils must meet UKVI eligibility criteria and pay the International Enrolment Fee. Visa sponsorship is available for pupils joining under one of the following arrangements: • Boarding at the Royal High School Bath • Living in Homestay • Living with a Parent holding a Parent of a Child Student visa • Living with a Close Relative All boarding and Homestay students must appoint an educational guardian. GDST schools benefit from an experienced immigration adviser to support families and consultants throughout the sponsorship and visa application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
