GCBAA Board Members and guests join staff for an evening dinner. This invitation only event will be held in downtown Colorado Springs.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 6 8:00 – 2:00 p.m. GCBAA Board of Directors Meeting 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Member Education
GCBAA Members are encouraged to arrive early on Tuesday into Colorado Springs to participate in expanded education sessions that will help you and your company understand the latest trends and technologies in Golf Construction. Sessions include a panel discussion on Common Irrigation Contractor Mistakes and ways to avoid them, as well as local industry partners providing updates related to industry trends. A group of your peers will host a panel discussion on ways to work as a team with a final presentation on how to use social media to engage the next generation of your customers and clients.

Downtown Colorado Springs offers a number of scenic views and local flavor to keep your special someone busy while you grind away at the education sessions. With local guides provided by some of our friends who live in the area, attendees will avoid the tourist traps and be ushered around the area to see local shopping stops like Manitou Springs. For those up for the challenge; pack your hiking shoes for a chance to explore the foothills of Pikes Peak or test your athleticism on the infamous “Incline”.

Your GCBAA Meetings and Education Committee want to bring some local Colorado flavors to you and are planning some group activity with local brews and atmosphere. This networking opportunity will help you prepare for a special golf outing (Putting Contest) that will roll everyone into the opening reception.
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Putting Contest
In the theme of networking and fun, plan on joining the group in the hotel lobby for a unique putting contest that will challenge your skills.
6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sticks for Kids Reception, Dinner, and Auction
Directly on hotel property, this evening includes a reception and silent auction before dinner. To top it off, guests can participate in a live auction benefiting the Golf Foundation and Sticks for Kids.

The celebrated Sticks for Kids tournament will be held at Bear Dance Golf Course. An entry fee of $175 per player includes: transportation to and from the course, breakfast, lunch, golf, cart, awards, beverages, tee gifts and a golf shirt. If you would like to play, please indicate on the registration form your current USGA handicap index or average 18-hole score and shirt size. A limited number of rental clubs are available for $60/set. Spouses and guests are welcome and encouraged to play.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER Each room request must be assigned to a registered meeting participant. Companies are not allowed to block rooms under one name. The Hotel is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking rooms are NOT available.
HOW TO REGISTER A web link to make your hotel reservation will be emailed to you upon receipt of your meeting registration. All reservations are to be made, modified or canceled by YOU, the member or guest.

EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY An early departure fee of one nights’ room and tax will be assessed to the folio of any guest who departs earlier than the date confirmed at check-in. The fee will automatically post to the guest’s individual account, on or after departure.

2019 AUCTION DONATION FORM We are seeking your support as an auction item donor for the annual auction to benefit the GCBAA Foundation and Sticks for Kids Program.
