Paul Andre Lynch was born March 30, 1955, to the late Fred Douglas Lynch and Glori Lynch in Newport News, Virginia. Paul entered eternal rest on July 15, 2026. He grew up in Newport News, Virginia and graduated from Menchville High School in 1973.
Paul served in the United States Army from 1978 to 1981. He returned home and began his career as a roofer. Throughout his career he was known for his work ethic and his great pride in his job. He was dedicated to his job until retirement.
Paul shared a life with the late Sandra King, and together they welcomed their son, Tremaine. He was also a devoted father to his bonus children, whom he loved dearly and helped raised. Paul was baptized in 2015 by Pastor Phillip Lucas at Greater Bethlehem Christian Assembly in Hampton, Virginia. Paul recently rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the New York Giants. He had a passion for arts and crafts, and crabbing. He loved to dance and listen to R&B music. He shared good jokes with family and friends and laughed about his own jokes.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gloria Lynch; maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles, Ronald Turner, Robert and William Whitehead, and a special friend Besty Jordan.
Paul leaves to cherish his legacy, son, Tremaine Lynch; siblings, Fred Whitehead, David Lynch, Michael Lynch, Robin Lynch-Richardson, and Donna Lynch. He also leaves a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and best friends, Carl Bailey and Alton Tisdale. Truly he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him!
