WhentheGatesBrothersstartedriding,theycalledtheColoradoWhiteRiver NationalForrestandFlatTopsWildernesstheirpracticearena Theywere packinghuntersandpunchingcowsbytheageoftwo,andweresaddledupfor longdaysonthemountainbeforemostkidswereoutofdiapers.
Sincethen,theyhavebecomestarwrestlers,passionateabouttheiranimals, andtruegentleman.Theytiptheirhatstotheflagandbowtheirheadsinprayer beforetheirrides.Theylovebreakingcoltsandworkcowsontheirfamilyranch inOklahoma. Theseboyshavebeenonhorsesaslongastheycouldholdtheir headsupanditshowswithhowpassionatetheyaretoday,ridingandlearning howtheseanimalsmoveandthink
