As a licensed venue, Garthmyl Hall proudly hosts both civil and humanist weddings on-site, allowing for a seamless blend of contemporary design and personal significance, and for those inclined towards tradition with a touch of charm, churches in nearby Berriew and Montgomery provide the perfect backdrop. The Orangery In May 2026, we unveiled our stunning new Orangery, transforming the venue into something even more spectacular. Flooded with natural light and offering beautiful backdrops for your wedding breakfast, the space creates the perfect setting for unforgettable celebrations. With multiple entrances and a stylish patio area, guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings throughout the day. The Orangery is also wonderfully versatile, making it an ideal space for your evening reception and party. We can’t wait to welcome you and show you around.
The Party With a starlit sky and a sprinkle of fairy lights, the arrival of twilight means it’s time to dial up the evening’s festivities. The smooth transition from the wedding breakfast to the party is guaranteed, with our attentive staff ready to serve up your favourite drinks (post-meal espresso martinis always go down well!) and a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The Orangery is, capable of hosting up to 200 guests, is the epicentre of your evening. It's the ideal spot for everyone to gather and celebrate, inviting you to dance the night away. Considering an outfit change? This is the moment for it—step into something with sparkles, sequins or feathers to fully embrace the revelry ahead. With a live band or DJ setting the soundtrack, or perhaps a playlist you’ve carefully curated yourself, the music will carry you and your guests into the early hours. When it’s finally time to wind down, the Cellar Bar offers a cosy spot for a final nightcap before retiring to one of our luxurious guest bedrooms.

Drinks & Wine In order to craft the perfect drinks reception to kickstart your celebration, we offer bespoke packages that can be customised to your heart's desire, including the option for a personalised cocktail! Following this warm welcome, our curated wine list comes into play, carefully selected to accompany your meal with both well-loved classics and exciting new discoveries. For those looking to add a personal touch, our flexible corkage option allows you to bring along your favourite bottles to share with guests. This experience is brought to life across our three unique bar areas. The Gentleman’s Bar, with its proximity to the Ballroom and Orangery, offers a refined setting for classic elegance. The Cellar Bar, known for its lively atmosphere, provides a dynamic backdrop to impress and entertain. Lastly, the Summer House Bar is the ideal choice for an airy, outdoor drinks reception, ensuring every moment of your celebration, wherever you are, is catered to with sophistication and style.
The Honeymoon Suite
The Honeymoon Suite offers secluded luxury in its own private wing, featuring a super king-size bed amidst plush antique decor, gilt sofas, and shimmering chandeliers. Surrounded by your nearest and dearest, prepare in style within the suite’s exclusive dressing room, boasting a 7foot gilt mirror and stylish, elegant furnishings; this is the perfect relaxing and refined spot for a quiet (and excitement-filled) morning. But that’s not all; the lavishness extends to a spacious en-suite bathroom with a slipper bath, double vanity, and a striking floral mural, complemented by an additional double shower room for utmost convenience. Framed by large windows, our Honeymoon Suite also provides a luxurious retreat for the newlyweds to unwind and reminisce about the day’s joyous events.
Guest Accommodation Our accommodation options include the Hall itself, a variety of charming cottages in the Stables, and the Boathouse, which together can host up to 50 guests for two or more nights. Although different in style, they each echo the eclectic elegance of Garthmyl Hall. The Hall, a perfect blend of house and hotel, features ten luxury en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate 23 guests across double rooms and a family room. Each space is infused with unique character and adorned with handpicked furnishings, local chocolates, and Bramley toiletries, ensuring a stay that’s as indulgent as it is comfortable. For additional guests, our beautifully converted Stables and stunning Boathouse offer luxurious retreats for couples and families alike. Though these are optional extras and aren’t included in the venue hire cost, they provide the perfect complement to the Hall’s accommodations, making every guest's stay a memorable part of your wedding celebration.
