To do my duty to God and my Country and
To obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
THE SCOUT LAW
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.
THE SCOUT MOTTO
Be Prepared.
A MESSAGE TO OUR
PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE
Dear President’s Circle Donors,
It is my honor to recognize and thank the generous donors who make up the Garden State Council President’s Circle. Your support has a meaningful impact on the young people we serve and helps prepare them to grow into responsible, ethical leaders.
Because of your generosity, Scouting continues to deliver high-quality programs, expand access through ScoutReach, and provide safe and engaging outdoor and camp experiences across southern New Jersey. Your commitment directly supports our mission and strengthens the future of Scouting in our communities.
As we celebrate your leadership, we also mark an important transition within the Council. I extend my sincere thanks to Tim Guim for his service as President of the Board of Directors and for his steady guidance of the Council. I am also pleased to welcome Jason W. Miller as the incoming President. Jason brings a collaborative approach and a strong focus on working with volunteers and staff as we look ahead.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Garden State Council, thank you for your generosity, leadership, and belief in the power of Scouting. Together, we are creating a lasting impact for today’s youth and future generations.
With sincere appreciation,
Patrick Linfors Scout Executive, Garden State Council

Your Scouting Legacy
Empowering the Future of the Garden State Council, Today and Tomorrow
At the Garden State Council, we are dedicated to empowering young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. By including the Garden State Council in your will or estate plans, you become a champion for the next generation of leaders.
A planned gift, such as a bequest or beneficiary designation, allows you to make a meaningful impact, often using assets rather than current income. Your legacy helps ensure that Scouting continues to build character, leadership, and service across southern New Jersey for generations to come.
