Dear Members, As we welcome September, there is plenty to look forward to at the Club! We’re excited to bring back Member Mingle beginning September 15, giving us another opportunity to gather, reconnect, and enjoy time together as a community. Before we turn the page completely to fall, we hope you’ll join us for our Labor Day Ice Cream Social, and make the most of the long weekend with family and friends. I’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our members for making Music Under the Stars in August such a wonderful evening. Your participation and enthusiasm helped make the event truly special. And what a year it has been for AEW Goodwill Enchanted Weekend! The 2026 event was another tremendous success, bringing our community together for a memorable weekend filled with golf, mingling, shopping, and plenty of opportunities to connect and celebrate. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the weekend such a success. As we head into the beautiful days of September, we look forward to seeing you around the Club and making even more memories together.

Fitness Class Registration Reminder: Register for Fitness Classes on the Club App! Fitness classes can fill up quickly, so be sure to register through the Club App in advance to reserve your spot. When a class reaches capacity, registered participants will receive priority. We encourage you to register ahead of time to ensure your spot in class!

A Friendly Reminder for Families To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please keep the following age guidelines in mind: • Under 13: Children are not permitted in the Fitness Center, steam room, or indoor hot tub. • Ages 13–16: May use the Fitness Center with a parent or guardian. They must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian when using the indoor hot tub. • Ages 17+: Have access to the Fitness Center.

FALL GOLF COURSE AERIFICATION Just a reminder, fall golf course aerification will begin Tuesday, September 8th. This process will include aerification of greens, approaches, fairways, and rough. Legacy in the Links Celebrates 75 Years of Tradition, Community & Giving Back The Kissing Camels Ladies Golf Association's 2026 Member-Guest Tournament, Legacy in the Links, was a memorable celebration of the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's 75th Anniversary, bringing together members and their guests for a day filled with exceptional golf, friendship, and community impact. Inspired by the Club's rich history and breathtaking setting, this year's committee chose to partner with the Garden of the Gods Foundation, introducing many members and guests to the Foundation's mission of preserving, protecting, and sharing Garden of the Gods Park through conservation, education, and stewardship. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed spirited competition, specialty contests, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and the Diamond Player Advantage Package, all supporting the Foundation's important work. The celebration continued during the awards luncheon, where members were honored to welcome special guests Lyda Hill, founder of the Garden of the Gods Foundation; Christina Haywood, Executive Director of the Garden of the Gods Foundation; Jan Martin, President of the Foundation's Board of Directors; and Brenda Smith and Judy Mackey, co-owners of the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. Together, they shared reflections on the Club's rich history, the Foundation's mission, and the lasting importance of preserving one of Colorado's most treasured landmarks. Their remarks beautifully connected the Club's 75year legacy with a shared commitment to protecting Garden of the Gods Park for future generations. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, guests, sponsors, and donors, Legacy in the Links raised $22,887 for the Garden of the Gods Foundation. Beyond the dollars raised, the event helped build new awareness of the Foundation's mission and inspired many members to become future supporters of its work. Legacy in the Links was made possible by the dedication of an outstanding committee. Heartfelt thanks to event chair Stephanie Brock and committee members Elaine Phelan, Karly Siddens, Kris Sprehe, Jill Johnson, Marianne Maloney, Connie Christofferson, Cathy Steele, and Carlene Decker for their creativity, countless volunteer hours, and commitment to making this 75th Anniversary celebration such a memorable success. The committee also extends its sincere appreciation to the Garden of the Gods Foundation, the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club ownership, the golf professional staff, outside golf operations team, banquet staff, and the many sponsors, donors, volunteers, and members whose enthusiasm and generosity made this special anniversary celebration such a remarkable success. Legacy in the Links demonstrated that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, the impact extends far beyond the fairways. It was a fitting tribute to the Club's 75-year legacy and a meaningful investment in the future of one of Colorado's most extraordinary places. Fall Pickleball Program Open Play Friendly, organized play designed for all skill levels to compete together. Schedule • August 31st-December 18th • Mondays & Thursdays: 8:30–10:00 a.m. • Tuesdays: 5:30–7:00 p.m. • Freebie Fridays: 5:30–7:00 p.m. Registration & Fees • Open to all levels. • Maximum of 20 players per session. • Must sign up through member central. • Outdoor Open Play runs through Friday, October 2 and is free of charge, however, members are required to bring there own balls • Beginning Monday, October 5, Open Play moves indoors and a $5 fee applies. • All Friday Open Play sessions remain free of charge. Play Format • Games are played to 11, win by 1. • Recreational Courts: If more than 3 players are paddled up, all 4 players rotate off after one game. If 2 or fewer players are paddled up, the winners stay, split up, and partner with the new player(s) entering. • Challenge Courts: The winning team stays on; the losing team • Players that are waiting can choose to paddle up for recreational or challenge court. No phone calls are permitted in the fitness center. Please step outside if you need to take or make a call. • Closed-toe shoes are required at all times. Open-toed shoes are not permitted. All members and guests must wear shoes while in the facility. No exceptions. Age Requirements: » Minimum age to use the fitness center: 13 years old » Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older » Ages 17 and older may use the facility independently Thank you for your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and welcoming fitness environment for everyone.
