Message from John Reilly MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dear Members, As we welcome the arrival of October, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on a wonderful September at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. With our ice cream social and trivia events, we love seeing the participation from all of you enjoying special moments at our Club. We were also delighted by the success of our newly introduced New Member Mingle! These gatherings are a terrific way to bring members together, foster new connections, and strengthen the sense of community that makes our Club so special. We look forward to continuing these opportunities throughout the year. As we transition into the beauty of fall, there is still plenty to look forward to. We are excited to celebrate Oktoberfest, welcome some members to our Llama Halloween Happy Hour, and continue our Member Socials throughout the winter season. While the seasons may change, our commitment to creating meaningful experiences and memorable moments for our members remains constant. Thank you for being such an important part of our community. We look forward to sharing another month at the club with you.
Be Well,
John Reilly Managing Director

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to this member event. Due to the potential for frost delays in October, starting times will begin at 8:30am for the entire month. Please call the Golf Shop prior to tee off for updated course conditions and/ or delays. If there are course delays, the professional staff will send notifications via Jonas to those on the tee sheet for the day. The restrooms at The Mirage will remain open throughout the winter months.

Sunday, November 1st we will transition to an 18-hole course. This transition has worked well over the past few years, and we hope to keep one 18-hole rotation open throughout the winter season. Along with our 18-hole course rotation throughout the winter months, the restrooms at The Mirage will remain open for your convenience. As we move towards winter and drier conditions, we ask that you respect our request(s) when asked to consolidate golf carts. We recommend that a maximum of 2 carts per foursome be used. We appreciate your consideration as we try to keep our course in the best condition possible through the winter/spring months. GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE TIPS Please remember to fill divots with the sand/seed provided on your golf carts. The golf course will show out much better as we move into winter and most importantly in the Spring. Please repair your ball mark and 1-2 others when on the putting surface. Leave it better than you found it. You will be amazed at how much better the greens will roll! GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE Please make sure you are dressed appropriately when using the golf course and practice range. If you are in doubt about your attire, please ask a member of the Professional Staff for assistance.

FIT Exercise and Stress: A Powerful Partnership As the year begins to wind down and schedules become increasingly busy, it's not unusual to feel the effects of added stress. While many people think of exercise primarily as a way to improve physical fitness, regular movement is also one of the most effective tools for supporting mental and emotional well-being. When we exercise, our bodies release endorphins, natural chemicals that help improve mood and reduce feelings of stress and tension. Physical activity can also provide a healthy outlet for daily pressures, allowing both the body and mind an opportunity to reset. Regular exercise may help: • Improve mood and energy levels • Reduce stress and tension • Support better sleep quality • Increase focus and mental clarity • Build resilience during demanding periods

The good news is that you don't need an intense workout to experience these benefits. A walk, a group fitness class, a strength training session, or a yoga practice can all have a positive impact. As you participate in this month's Stress Less, Move More Challenge, remember that every workout supports more than your physical health. Consistent movement can help you manage stress, boost energy, and maintain a greater sense of balance throughout your day.
