Dear Members,
Welcome to the end-of-year holiday season! This is my favorite time of the year as we get to enjoy Thanksgiving, holiday decorations, and the unique opportunities of winter holidays and events to create wonderful family memories. I find myself reminded of the turbulent times that we experienced during COVID and how family gatherings and memories were impacted. Now, even more than normal, I am so grateful that we can celebrate these special occasions together and fully.
Our culinary and food and beverage team has created an exceptional Vietti Chef’s Wine Dinner which will take place this Wednesday, November 2nd in the Hill Room. Our team will take you to the heart of the Langhe hills in Italy with pairings carefully chosen to create an unparalleled dining experience. Reservations are already robust, so if you have not yet made your booking, please do so soon.
Thanksgiving will see our expansive buffets in Grand View, the Hill Room, and the Rocks Lounge for this holiday family tradition. Look under the Food and Beverage section of this newsletter for more details on the menus and for instructions on making reservations.
We will have our annual Tree Lighting ceremony and viewing on Saturday, November 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the main entrance porte-cochere. The illumination ceremony and lighting will occur at 5:45 p.m. This will be an opportunity to see the club decorated, and to hear carolers, Santa will be in town to greet you and we will have other surprises on hand and a buffet for those wishing to stay and dine afterward.
On Friday, November 11th, we are honored to welcome our Veteran Members to enjoy breakfast in the Grand View Dining Room as recognition and gratitude for your honorable service. We will be happy to take care of the breakfast expense of any Veteran Member dining with us that morning, however, you are asked to please make an advance reservation. Kids’ Club will also be recognizing Veteran's Day with crafts and red, white, and blue yogurt parfaits.
The Golf Winter Course rotations will begin on November 1st. Our Golf Team will be working hard to keep a normal 18-hole course rotation in play until it becomes necessary to transition entirely to the Winter Course. Please be cognizant of frost and weather delays.
Just in time for the holidays, Strata Spa is adding two services to its menu - Yumi Lashes and full body relaxation in a weightless, waterbed cocoon. Also, this is the season that our immune systems might benefit from an Immunity Strata Pack. Our practitioners have collaborated to develop a one-of-a-kind immunity pack that includes everything to strengthen and support your immune system this cold and flu season, please contact our Strata team for further details.

Colorado Inactive Score-Posting Season From November 14 – March 15
Colorado’s inactive score-posting season begins in mid-November. If you are traveling to your winter residences and are NOT in an inactive posting season, please remember to post all your scores immediately after playing. As you know, golf is a game of equity, and it is your responsibility to post your scores.
