LEAD PARTNER

SHORTLIST

A celebration of the leading companies and most dynamic individuals to have made their ma rk in the Asia-Pacific gaming industry in the past year

Across Asia-Pacific, the gaming industry continues to evolve at pace, with innovation and investment shaping its ongoing success.

Throughout the past year, APAC further strengthened its position on the global stage. Established markets such as Macau and Singapore continued to build on their momentum, with Macau sustaining its post-pandemic recovery and Singapore setting new benchmarks, including Marina Bay Sands reporting the greatest quarter in the history of casino hotels.

Meanwhile, emerging destinations are stepping confidently into the spotlight. Notably, the opening of new integrated resorts, such as City of Dreams Sri Lanka, signals ongoing investment

and long-term confidence in the region’s future as a world-class entertainment hub.

Alongside these developments, advancements in digital infrastructure have continued to reshape how players engage with gaming.

At the same time, regulatory progress across several jurisdictions has provided greater clarity and stability, encouraging sustainable growth while reinforcing responsible gaming practices, with markets such as the Philippines strengthening oversight and Australia continuing to refine its regulatory framework. New Zealand has also continued to make progress toward developing a regulated online casino industry, reflecting the region’s shift toward more structured and transparent markets.

What better way to celebrate this progress than by recognising the outstanding companies and individuals driving the industry forward at the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific. We are delighted to return to Manila in June and bring together senior executives from the region in one of its most vibrant gaming markets.

Every company and individual featured in this year’s Shortlist has earned their place through dedication, innovation and excellence. Congratulations to all nominees – your achievements not only strengthen your own organizations but continue to elevate the entire Asia-Pacific gaming industry!

The winners, as always, are decided by our distinguished Judging Panel of senior executives, whose deep regional expertise ensures a fair, transparent and highly respected process. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to each of them for their time and commitment.

I would also like to thank KPMG US for independently adjudicating the voting process, our Lead Partner Interblock and our valued event sponsors for their continued support, and the SiGMA Group for hosting the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific as part of the SiGMA Asia Summit.

We look forward to celebrating with you all in Manila on 2 June.

FROM THE ADJUDICATOR

Our work for the Global Gaming Awards reflects our commitment to the integrity of the global gaming industry.

KPMG is proud to play this critical role of verifying the voting process. Its importance cannot be overstated. It is foundational to allow the Global Gaming Awards to ensure fairness and maintain trust, and it allows winners to celebrate their achievements.

KPMG reviews the Awards’ system and tools for collecting votes (and ensuring judges cannot vote in categories where they have a conflict), checks that the winner and runner-up in each category have been determined correctly based on votes cast, and selects a random sample of judges whom we contact to verify that the votes recorded for them in the system are a complete and accurate reflection of their voting.

When the Global Gaming Awards were founded, the industry already had numerous awards programs - and many more have launched over the past decade. In such a crowded landscape, I am particularly proud that our founding principles have not only endured but have elevated the Global Gaming Awards to become the most respected in the industry.

So, what are those principles?

Internally, we’ve always referred to them as “the Good Reason Awards.” Why? Because every company that makes the shortlist earns its place for a good reason - its achievements in a specific region over the past year. That simple idea sets us apart.

Combine this with the industry’s largest knowledge base - our stellar judging panel of senior executive from the region, independent adjudication by KPMG from the very beginning, and clear, transparent rules - including one judge per company or group and strict conflict-ofinterest exclusions during voting - and you have a formula that works. Add in broad, highly competitive categories that are genuinely difficult to win, and the result is an awards program built on credibility and trust.

This was true a decade ago, and it remains true today.

The fact that companies celebrate simply being shortlisted - and continue to highlight their wins for years afterwards - tells me we’re doing something right.

ELEVATING THE FUTURE OF GAMING

Interblock is proud to serve as Lead Partner of the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2026. It is a privilege to recognize the achievements of this year’s finalists and to join an industry that continues to push the boundaries of innovation, performance, and player experience.

The gaming industry is at an inflection point. Player expectations are evolving faster than ever, shaped by advances in technology and a demand for more immersive, engaging, and seamless experiences. Nowhere is this more evident than in Asia-Pacific— one of the most dynamic and influential regions in global gaming.

We see significant growth ahead across Asia, including landmark developments such as Osaka, which will further elevate the region’s global importance. This momentum presents an opportunity—and a responsibility—for all of us. As an industry, we must continue to raise the bar: to rethink how we design experiences, how we integrate technology, and how we deliver value to both operators and players.

At Interblock, we believe the next phase of growth will not come from incremental change, but from fundamentally reimagining the player experience. Initiatives like AMUSE are part of that vision— bringing more intuitive, interactive, and engaging formats to the floor that expand the audience and deepen player connection.

At the same time, innovation must be matched by disciplined execution. We are taking deliberate steps to simplify our platform, streamline development, and strengthen product delivery—ensuring that what we bring to market performs consistently at the highest level. Our focus is not only on innovation, but on reliability, scalability, and long-term value for our partners.

Our partners remain central to everything we do. Their ambition and collaboration continue to shape our direction, and we are committed to supporting their success as we collectively elevate the gaming experience across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

We are honored to be part of this event and extend our congratulations to all shortlisted nominees. Your work continues to move the industry forward, and we look forward to what comes next.

ASIA-PACIFIC’S CONTINUED RISE

Over the past 12 months, the Asia-Pacific region has once again reinforced its position as one of the most dynamic and influential forces in the global gaming industry, defined by regulatory evolution, shifting player behavior and continued investment across both landbased and digital sectors.

In the Philippines, the gaming industry recorded gross gaming revenues of Php396.14bn (US$6.61bn) in 2025, as the sector continued to adapt following the shutdown of offshore gaming operations. Despite this shift, growth remained strong, driven by the rapid expansion of the online segment. Online gaming revenues rose by 30% year-on-year to Php201.1bn (US$3.5bn) accounting for 50.77% of total industry GGR and overtaking licensed casinos as the largest contributor. This momentum is reflected in user engagement, with around 10 million active adult Filipino players now participating on legal e-gambling platforms. PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco highlighted the ongoing shift in player behaviour toward digital channels, with the regulator responding through enhanced oversight, improved transparency and a continued focus on maintaining a secure and well-regulated environment.

Macau maintained its strong recovery trajectory, with gross gaming revenue reaching MOP$247.4bn (US$30.9bn) in 2025, up 9.1% year-on-year and marking the market’s highest annual total since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Operators have also continued to diversify beyond gaming, investing further in entertainment, retail and hospitality to broaden Macau’s appeal to a wider audience.

Elsewhere in the region, investment in integrated resorts remains a key growth driver. The opening of City of Dreams Sri Lanka marked a significant milestone, signaling continued confidence in large-scale destination developments and highlighting the expansion of premium gaming and entertainment experiences into new markets.

Singapore continues to deliver exceptional performance, with Marina Bay Sands reporting record-breaking results. The property achieved a record quarterly Adjusted Property EBITDA of US$806m in 4Q2025, the highest ever reported in the history of casino hotels. This performance underlines the strength of the premium segment and the enduring appeal of integrated resort offerings in the region.

Looking ahead, New Zealand has entered the countdown phase for its regulated online casino market, with the government confirming that licences will begin to be issued from 1 December 2026. Detailed regulatory frameworks are expected to be finalized by mid-2026, reflecting a broader regional shift toward more structured and transparent online gaming markets.

Across Asia-Pacific, one theme remains consistent: a highly competitive industry that is equally united in

its commitment to sustainable growth, innovation and responsible gaming. Operators and suppliers are investing in new technologies, enhanced player experiences and stronger safeguards, ensuring the region remains at the forefront of global industry development.

The achievements of the past year are reflected in the following pages, where we showcase the companies and individuals shortlisted for the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2026.

The Global Gaming Awards stand as the most prestigious honors in the sector, recognizing true achievement across the region. To be shortlisted is an accomplishment on its own and a reflection of the impact each nominee has made over the past year.

Congratulations to all those shortlisted. We look forward to celebrating your success at the Awards ceremony in the Philippines!
