THE BACON BROTHERS DEBUT AT THE CENTER WITH ‘FOROSOCO’

SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2026, 7:30 PM

$42 – $108

PRESENTED BY SPONSORED BY

The Bacon Brothers have spent the better part of three decades exploring their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound "forosoco," and it's taken them around the world, from headlining gigs in Japan to American performances at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and Gruene Hall. Now they're making their first appearance at the Gallo Center!

The siblings are Kevin Bacon (known worldwide as an A-list Hollywood actor) and Michael Bacon (celebrated as an Emmy-winning composer). They may be bound together by blood and a mutual love of American roots music, but they've grown into sharp songwriters and cinematic storytellers with their own distinct approaches. Their musical partnership began long ago in Philadelphia, where the Bacons were raised on a soundtrack of 1970s singer/songwriters, Philly soul bands, and classic rock acts. Today they're creating their own soundtrack, saluting their old-school influences while making music that's undeniably modern.

Everyone’s favorite Scottish nanny is headed to the Gallo Center in this internationally acclaimed hit musical critics call “wonderful, heart-warming, and laugh-out-loud funny” ( Manchester Evening News ) and “a feel-good, familyfriendly comedy that delivers” ( The Hollywood Reporte r). Based on the beloved film, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard, who will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the kindly alter ego of nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As his new character takes on a life of its own, the ‘nanny’ teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father. Mrs. Doubtfire is the musical comedy we need right now, one that proves we’re better together.

MODESTO PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTS

SATURDAY JUNE 13, 2026SUNDAY, JUNE 21, 2026

FIVE PERFORMANCES

$32 – $58

Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof is the brainchild of Broadway legends Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince; songwriters Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick; and book writer Joseph Stein. Touching audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty, this universal show is a staple of the musical theatre canon.

Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tightknit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

They recently recorded their first collaborative album entitled Happy Days, and made their solo concert debut at New York City's Carnegie Hall in October 2024.

This performance is part of the new GCA Cabaret series at the Gallo Center offering a vibrant and eclectic showcase of intimate performances in the Foster Family Theater. Take advantage of special VIP table seating both on stage and in the orchestra pit, complete with complimentary cocktail service, for a truly cabaret-style experience.
