Special Pac 12 Golf Edition
Welcome to a special edition of the Collage! Being the proud host of this year’s PAC 12 Men’s Golf Championship, we would like to share with you tournament information, how the course is set up and day one starting times. We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who offered their time to assist while we show off your club! Come on out and wear your favorite team’s garb!
Tournament Information Competition Format Seventy-two holes of medal play golf over three days of competition shall decide the Conference Men’s Golf Championships. The host institution shall determine which day the 36-hole competition will be held and shall notify all other institutions at least 30 days in advance of the Championships. The championships will be played in threesomes to ensure competition is completed on time. In the event of a tie for the team championship, NCAA team tie breaking procedures shall be followed to determine the champion. Ties shall be broken during a sudden-death playoff counting the low four scores (relative to par). If there are three or more teams involved in a playoff, the shotgun format listed in the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships Handbook shall be used. In the event of a tie for the individual championship, a sudden death playoff shall be held immediately after the conclusion of the final round to determine the champion. If the tie is between members of the same team, the playoff shall be held at the discretion of the teams’ coach, who shall be allowed to determine whether a playoff shall be held. If a playoff is not held, the individuals shall be declared co-champions. Playing Rules United States Golf Association (USGA) rules shall govern play at the Pac-12 Conference Men’s Golf Championships. NCAA championships rules and NCAA Hard card shall be used for rules pertaining to equipment, uniforms, pace of play and spectators. Each competitor should carry a current copy of the USGA rules book. Starting Times and Pairings The defending Conference team champion shall be assigned the first tee time on the first tee on the first day of play and the other eleven teams shall be assigned starting hole, order of play and partners via a blind draw by the Conference office. Following each day of competition, the pairings for the next day shall be determined by team scores.

Spectators Admission to the Championships is free. Spectators are expected to adhere to course rules regarding dress, no smoking and no talking on cell phones. Parking is available for spectators at The Gallery Golf Club. Spectators are not permitted in the areas that are designated as working space for athletic communications and other tournament officials. Spectator carts will only be rented to those individuals who can provide proof of disability. The rental fee for a cart is $25.
