Golf Course Changes With a new season, brings a few new presentations on your courses. We hope these will enhance your playing experiences! North Course We had this course re-rated by the Arizona Golf Association for the men this summer. There were some slight adjustments made to the course ratings and we thought this would be a good time to make some adjustments to our Azul/Verde Combo tees as well. South Course Last season, we changed the Azul/Verde Combo tee on Hole #11 from Verde to Azul. After further review and multiple conversations, it has been decided to reverse that call and go back to the Verde Tee when playing the combo tees. GWGA Fall 2015 Charity Event Marana Community Food Bank The Need: Marana Community Food Bank (MCFB), 60 years of service this year, is providing emergency food assistance to about 2,500 families every month. 24% or nearly 600 children are receiving food from MCFB in addition to 550 seniors – those who will not see an increase in their family resources when the economy improves. Mission: We change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today and building healthy, hunger-free tomorrow. Goal: $3,700 Drive Duration: November 4th – December 9th Donations: Each $1 donated allows the food bank to distribute enough food for four meals to local children, families and seniors. Thank you in advance for YOUR support of our Fall Charity! Donations are eligible for AZ State Charitable Tax Credits $1 for $1 up to $400 per couple and $200 per individual. How to Donate: · Gallery Member Account Donation Form – turn into Golf Shop or Kristie · Online at CommunityFoodBank.org – scroll down to Marana Food Bank, click GWGA Donate Now button. · Checks – make payable to Marana Community Food Bank/Marana – on memo line write GWGA.
