Hole 3, Par 3 = An Ace! Joan McHugh started off November (2nd) ‘thanking’ her playing partners for the high-fives and congratulations after her hole in one on #3 of the South Course from 132 yards. Her playing partners were Carol Colton, Connie Johansson and Bev Wellen. Congratulations Mrs. McHugh!
Birdie Barrage On November 20, Steve Dietrich, Larry Berman, Bill Winkler and John Beamish were playing the South blues. They all reached the green on the 183 yard third hole. Pictured from right to left as each of them putted... Dr. Dietrich was first to putt and faced a daunting 100 footer from the back right to the front left of the green. He dunked the bomb for an amazing birdie. Next to putt was Mr. Beamish who popped in a tricky 15 footer. With pressure mounting, Mr. Berman followed with an unlikely 10 foot putt. And finally, Mr. Winkler cooly tapped in his 8 footer to complete the birdie fest. Dr. Dietrich went on to card an excellent 70 for the round. The rest of the group helped to fund his upcoming trip to South America. Awesome story and thank you for sharing!

Solheim Cup Pairings Party Friday, January 22nd 4pm Event Monday January 25th, Wednesday, January 27th and Thursday, January 28th You MUST be able to play all three days! If you cannot, we will put you on an alternates list for fill-in purposes. Starting times Approximately 9:00 – 12:30 day 1, 12:30 Shotgun day 2 and 9:00 shotgun the final day. Day One – Chapman Day Two – Four Ball (Better Ball) Day Three – Singles Registration Deadline: Friday, January 15th at 6:00 p.m. Entry Fee: $30 plus tax per person plus the losing team will be charged $50 to their account and applied to the winning team’s credit book. Please use online registration or call or come into the Golf Shop.

Grass Roots Interclub You may choose to play any day during the period Tuesday, December 1st thru Saturday, January 16th. Only one round allowed!! • We will qualify for eleven (11) spots on the team • 18 hole stroke play • We will deduct the highest hole score on the front nine and the highest hole score on the back nine • We will take the lowest six (6) Gross and lowest five (5) Net scores • All play will be from the Blue/Green Combo Tees on the North Course • You must have a marker to keep your score (cannot play as a single) We will contact the successful qualifiers as soon as qualifying is over. You do not have to commit to play in all four of the events!!
