Welcome Welcome to The Gallery Golf Club and the 2015 Gunslinger Men’s Member-Guest. We are excited to see so many returning friends along with some new bandits in this year’s field and we hope that you enjoy your time with us over the next 4 days. Thank you to our partners at Titleist and Foot Joy for being a part of this year’s event and hosting the “Gunslinger General Store” where you will be able to use your $175 credit and take advantage of great pricing on the #1 products in golf. As always, Director of Golf, Paul Nolen, and our Professional Staff have a great schedule of events and a fun tournament format lined up and we look forward to you enjoying the golf almost as much as you enjoy the camaraderie. Golf Course Superintendent, Paul Ellwood, and his team continue have provided amazing course conditions this season and we think you will agree the courses are as good (if not better) than ever. Local Rules Sheet All play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its Decisions and where applicable, by the following Local Rules, Conditions and Definitions. Out of Bounds: Defined by the inside points of White Stakes or fence posts at ground level. In the absence of white stakes, all fences and roads are boundaries and considered out of bounds. Stones in Bunkers: Considered as movable obstructions and may be removed with no penalty. Rule 24-1. Steps in Bunkers: Considered an immovable obstruction. See Rule 24-2b(ii) for relief instructions. Immovable Obstructions Close to Putting Green: Free relief is allowed from immovable obstructions on or within two club-lengths of the putting green when the ball lies within two club-lengths of the immovable obstruction. Water Hazards: Identified by Yellow Stakes, Defined by Yellow Lines. North Course #13; South Course #11 Lateral Hazards: Identified by Red Stakes, Defined by Red Lines. North Course: #2, #4, #6, #8, #9, #11, #14, #15 & #16 South Course: #4, #8, #10, #15 & #18 Embedded Ball: The Embedded Ball Rule is in effect Through the Green.
Drop Zones Non Blue Stake Drop Zones: Hole #15 North: Right Green; For a ball left or over the green only; the DZ is located at the front left of the green. Hole #8 South: DZ located on the green side of the path in front of the Red Tee. Hole #11 South: DZ located on left side of fairway on tee-side of the wash. Blue Stake Drop Zones: As an additional option under Rule 28 for a ball (does not have to be found) where there is reasonable evidence that has passed the blue stake, the player may drop in the designated Drop Zone under the penalty of one stroke: North Course Hole #8: For a ball over the green and is thought to have crossed the cart path between the two blue stakes only; the DZ is located on the back tee of #9 tee. Hole #15: For the left green only; the DZ is located on the tee side of the wash. South Course Hole #16: For a ball left of the green only; the DZ is located on the left side near the wash. Use of Range Finders: Use of Range Finders or artificial yardage calculators IS allowed. Devices which measure slope and/or wind ARE NOT allowed.

Information Sheet Flights 1-4 will play from the Azul / Verde (Blue / Green) Combo Tees on both courses. Flights 5 - 10 will play from the Verde Tees on both courses. Each team will play every other team in their respective flights. The competition will be nine-hole better ball match play with scoring as follows: Win a hole = 2 points Tie a hole = 1 point Lose a hole = 0 points Win a match = 2 points Tie a match = 1 point Lose a match = 0 points 20 points possible per match! If your flight has a bye in it, each team will receive 14 points when they are scheduled to play the “bye” team. Rule 30 of the USGA Rules of Golf governs this form of Match Play. All matches will be played off of the lowest handicap in the group with all other competitors receiving the full nine-hole differential. All odd number handicap strokes will be allocated on the front nine. Remember, you are playing for point totals, not reckoning of holes…all nine holes must be played in every match. First and second place in each flight will advance to the Shootout to determine the “Overall Champion”. Ties will be settled by results of head to head competition between the two tied teams. If still tied, by the results against the next highest team etc. Please take the time to enjoy your surroundings as well as the people with whom you are playing!
