Around the Club Gallery Members En Fuego Despite Frost Delays! Kevin Kammerer leads off the barrage of great play with a hole in one on Monday, January 25th on hole #7 of the North Course from 162 yards using a 7-iron. Witnessing and celebrating was Tom Fancher.
Jim Burrows is quite a short game guru. On Tuesday, January 29th he holed a wedge from 80 yards for an eagle 2 on the 8th hole of the North Course. About one week earlier he had done the same thing from 100 yards on the 7th hole of the South Course. Witnessing both performances were Vic Zaleschuk and Jim Greenlee. Congratulations, Mr. Burrows.
Ian Kerr didn’t take long on January 28th to go down in the record books with a hole in one on #3 of the North Course. He holed out a PW from 127 with playing partner Dr. Craig Johnson. Well done Dr. Kerr! Kris Ligon got an eagle on #13 North January, 31. She used the wind to get her a very long drive past the bunkers and sank her 8 iron from 115 yards. Witnessed by her husband Bob Ligon, and Dave and Anna Charnock. Very nice! Roger Garrett shot 76 on the North Course the other day….which is under his age! Playing with him was Mrs. Beth Garrett and Ginny and Al Dohner. Great Round!
John Lorentzen is a new fan of Ground Hog’s Day! He recorded his first career ace on February 2, from 147 yards on #16 of the South Course. Witnessing an celebrating were Michael Allen, Bob Kuna and Brian McHugh.

Instruction/Education Program Update As you all may know by now, Glen Griffith, our Director of Instruction, has made a career change and is leaving The Gallery. We wanted to let all of you know that golf instruction will not miss a beat. We have six Golf Professionals on staff to help you improve your game. We will have Clinics scheduled on a periodic basis, Golf Schools are already on the calendar and we have the wonderful tool of Flight Scope for those of you wanting to “dial in your numbers� to maximize your efficiency in ball striking and/or club fitting. We would also continue to invite you to spend time with our TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Personal Trainers at the Sports Club. They will work with you to assure that the functionality and mobility of your body will allow you to do what you need to do to maximize in your golf swing! Click HERE for more information.
