This Labor Day Weekend, The Gallery is once again proud to be a part of Patriot Golf Day. Patriot Golf Day supports Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization which seeks to provide annual educational scholarships to the military families of those who have been killed or disabled while in active duty. These scholarships help support private education tuition, tutoring and educational summer camps for children K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and children. Since its founding in 2007, the organization is proud to have awarded over 7,500 scholarships, including over 2,000 in 2014 alone. We are asking all associates to join in by wearing their Troon’s Troops Shirts on Saturday in conjunction with Patriot Golf Day. The Golf Shop will be asking Members and Guests to donate to Folds of Honor on Saturday, September 5th. For the first 50 Members who donate $35 on #15 of the North Course, they will receive a Folds of Honor Bag Tag and have a chance to take a shot at the $5,000 Hole In One Contest. Thank you for participating in Patriot Golf Day this Labor Day Weekend!
Blue Stake Changes Effective immediately, the Blue Stake markings will no longer be used with the exception of Hole #8 on the North. To eliminate confusion, we have returned the markings on Holes #16 South and #15 North (left green) to Lateral and Regular Water Hazards respectively. We still feel that keeping the blue stakes on Hole #8 North will benefit golfers by giving them an additional relief option for a ball hit over the green into the desert but not out of bounds. The drop zone on the back tee of #9 will still be used in this instance.
Gallery Road Trip to Sewailo! Join Jenny and Marty on a fun filled morning at Sewailo on Friday, September 18th. The Gallery is hosting an event on both the North and South Courses. The shotgun will be at 7:30am and we still have room for 15 Members. The cost is $50 and can be charged to your Gallery Account. The Gallery courses will be available for play after 3:30pm Sign up today on Foretees! Registration will be accepted through Tuesday, September 15th! If 7:30am is a bit too early for you, we are happy to help you find another facility to play that day! Troon Prive is always a great option to find other Troon properties to play.
