Richard Orlinski aime l’art sous toutes ses formes donc tous les moyens d’expression et de création l’intéressent et le séduisent : sculpture, design, musique, édition, mode, spectacle vivant et plus encore.
Richard Orlinski loves art in all its forms so all means of expression and creation interest and appeal to him: sculpture, design, music, publishing, fashion, live performance and more.
L’artiste ne s’impose aucune limite et aime créer des ponts entre tous ces univers et laisser exprimer sa sensibilité artistique. Tout a commencé avec un crocodile en résine rouge que le sculpteur a décidé d’exposer à Deauville (France) pendant le Festival du film américain. L’artiste français est nourri par la volonté de faire de l’art pour tous et emmène le genre dans des lieux inattendus. Exposer dans des lieux insolites et en plein air devient rapidement sa signature. Richard Orlinski a créé un univers pop coloré et son monde animal a fait le tour du monde. Ses animaux, souvent d’une taille spectaculaire, sont fiers et provocants mais symbolisent aussi la bonté et la liberté. Richard Orlinski a été fait Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres par la Ministre française de la Culture Roselyne BachelotNarquin en 2021.
The artist places no limits on himself: he loves to build bridges between all these worlds and let his artistic sensibility shine through. It all began with a crocodile in red resin that the sculptor decided to exhibit in Deauville (France) during the American Film Festival. The French artist is fuelled by the drive to make art for everyone and he takes the genre to unexpected places. Exhibiting in unusual places and the great outdoors soon became his signature. Richard Orlinski created a colorful pop universe and his animal world went around the globe. His often spectacularly huge animals are proud and defiant yet also symbolise kindness and freedom. Richard Orlinski was made an Officer for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin in 2021.

Choisissant un aluminium poli-miroir, le sculpteur attache son iconique Wild Kong à une palette industrielle mais l’animal rompt les chaînes que les hommes lui ont imposées.
Richard Orlinski has designed a work of ar t reflecting the world to show how ar t is liberating and creates incredible mental strength. The sculptor has chosen mirror polished aluminium and tied Wild Kong to a palette but the beast breaks the chains that man has put on it.
