The City of St. Petersburg, FL worked with local businesses and residents to develop a Joint Action Plan to enhance the 22nd Street Deuces Live Corridor and the Warehouse Arts District. Together, this emerging area represents one of Florida's most culturally vibrant, historically significant urban areas. The project's goal was to develop a joint framework plan with recommendations for the streetscape, open space, branding, and wayfinding; private property enhancement; and programs for events, investment, and celebration of this diverse urban place. The GAI Community Solutions Group, in partnership with both Deuces Live and the Warehouse Arts District Association, led more than 16 public involvement events to seek design input into the planning process. The results are an organized set of planning, policy, street design, and development recommendations that will leverage the full potential of the shared district. Today, the two parks proposed in the plan have been built.
