Welcome to Fyling Hall Day & Boarding School - A small independent school with a large heart. We are situated in a breath-taking location overlooking the picturesque coastline of Robin Hood’s Bay, near to the scenic beauty of the North York Moors National Park. Our school was founded in 1923 by an inspirational teacher called Mab Bradley and she believed that children learn best when they are happy and educated in a family-like atmosphere. She gave us our motto: “the days that make us happy make us wise”. Fyling Hall continues to fulfil our founder’s vision and uphold her motto. With around 180 pupils, we are able to get to know each child and tailor our approach to suit the individual. Every child is nurtured and made to feel important: pupils are happy and are inspired to achieve in a variety of ways.
