The PLASSON MCP system allows the division of the mains water supply and the installation of a water meter for individual properties in multi-dwelling buildings as required by guidelines and requirements of the UK Water Utility companies and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations.
The PLASSON MCP (meter connection point) provides mains isolation, meter connection, drain point and back flow prevention in a compact one piece unit.

Pexal ® Brass press fittings are produced with a brass alloy body and stainless steel sleeve fixed with a ring in transparent polymeric material. They are suited to a multitude of applications, from hot and cold drinking water supply systems to heating and industrial plants.
The fittings are equipped with a special base ring in transparent polymeric material that disconnects the aluminium in the pipe from the brass in the fitting, increasing the insertion depth on the insert and allowing greater control. Each fitting is individually wrapped to improve handling on the installation site and for greater protection from dust and debris.
• Two o-ring seals guarantee maximum hydraulic tightness.

XPress Copper Gas fittings are manufactured from copper or copper alloy (typically gunmetal) and incorporate a yellow (HNBR) Hydrogenated Acrylonitrite Butadiene Rubber O ring.
Designed specifically for use with copper tube to BS EN 1057 on internal and external above ground 2nd and 3rd family gas services and available in sizes 12 to 108mm.
XPress Copper Gas performance, when correctly assembled with copper tube to BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 (for above ground use only), has a minimum operating temperature range of between -20 and 70°C. The
maximum working pressure inside buildings is 1bar and maximum working pressure outside buildings is 5bar (maximum test pressure 7.5bar).

In these Terms & Conditions of Sale the following terms shall have the following meanings:
The Company shall mean FW Hipkin Ltd.
The Buyer shall mean the person, firm or company to whom the invoice is addressed and to whom the account belongs.
Goods shall mean any Goods supplied by the Company to the Buyer
Standard Terms of Sale
All quotations are made and orders accepted by the Company subject to these conditions, to the exclusion of any terms and conditions introduced by the Buyer, and superseding any earlier sets of conditions appearing in the Company’s catalogues or elsewhere. The Company reserves the right to vary these conditions of sale at any time, notwithstanding any prior course of dealing with the Buyer.
Credit Account Opening
Credit accounts are opened at our discretion and are subject to satisfactory references and credit checks. We will set a maximum amount of credit allowable upon each account and withdraw credit facilities at any time without explanation.
You agree that we may obtain, retain, and provide to third parties, references as to your financial standing.
Van Route Deliveries
Daily pre-defined routes in London and surrounding counties are available for Buyers who meet the spend criteria set by the Company. These Buyers will have no minimum order value* and may place orders up until 5.30pm for next-day delivery service, subject to availability.
*Minimum order value is subject to meeting both monthly and yearly spend criteria as determined by the Company. Eligibility for van deliveries is at the Company’s discretion. Buyers who do not meet the minimum spend will automatically revert to a carrier service, as detailed below. ‘No minimum order value’ does not apply to orders placed online which are subject to separate minimum order values.
Carrier Service
Areas not covered by our daily van routes will be serviced on a next-day** basis for orders received before 4pm. The minimum order value for free carriage is £100.00 + VAT (exclusions apply). Back orders for Buyers using our carrier service must meet the carriage-paid minimum order value when the item is back in stock.
**Exclusions apply. UK Mainland delivery only, does not include Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Offshore. Some areas of Scotland can only receive a 2-5 day delivery service and may incur a delivery surcharge. Contact our sales team for more information.
Large & Hazardous Items
Certain items that cannot be delivered via our own fleet will be sent on a pallet. These must be ordered by 1pm for next-day delivery (exclusions apply). The minimum order value for free pallet delivery carriage is £300.00 + VAT.
Large and hazardous items include, but are not limited to: Shower doors
• Bath panels
• Shower cabinets
• Radiators
• Drain cleaner acid
Gas cylinders
Large pipe coils / pipe reels
• Other hazardous, bulky or flammable products requiring specialist handling. This ensures items are delivered in a safe, secure, and sellable condition.
1. Prices
a. All prices quoted are exclusive of Value Added Tax: which will be charged at the rate applicable on the day of dispatch.
b. Prices shown on quotations or acknowledgements of orders are subject to alterations or withdrawal without notice. The Company will charge prices ruling at the day of dispatch.
c. The Company may increase prices at any time without prior notice given to the Buyer
2. Quotations
a. Quotations issued by the Company are for the whole of the Goods referred to in them and the Company reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any order which relates to only part of the Goods forming the subject of a quotation.
b. Quotations shall be available for acceptance to a maximum period of 30 days from the date of issue and may be withdrawn at any time by the Company prior to the Purchasers acceptance by written or oral notice
c. Orders accepted by the Company may not be cancelled under any circumstances unless agreed in writing by the Company
d. The Company reserves the right to refuse to execute any order or contract if the arrangements for the Buyers credit or payment are not satisfaction to the Company
3. Terms of Payment
a. Payment must be made on or before delivery excepting from those Buyers who have approved accounts with the Company in which case the payments shall be made within the month following the invoice date.
b. The Company reserves the right to withdraw these terms at any time.
c. COD (Cash on Delivery) is not accepted.
d. In the event of any payment being in arrears, the Company reserves the right to suspend deliveries until all arrears are cleared.
e. Late payment will result in the loss of any agreed discount and the price of unpaid Goods will be increased accordingly
f. If the Buyer fails to pay on or before the due date, the Company will be entitled to pass the debt for collection.
g. Goods remain the property of the Company until paid for in full. The Company may repossess unpaid Goods without notice.
h. American Express is not accepted.
4. Delivery a. Delivery takes place at the premises of the Buyer and the confirmed address on the Buyer account form.
b. Deliveries to a site that is not the Buyer ’s confirmed address are subject to special terms, separate charges, delivery charges and minimum order quantities. All deliveries to site must be confirmed by the Company and the Company reserves the right to refuse deliveries to site at any time.
c Carriage is paid within the Company's Free Delivery area using our own transport. Goods sent outside the area by post or carrier will incur charges unless meeting the Company’s minimum order value. Delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to the Buyer
d. The Company reserves the right to make part delivery of any order and to invoice the Purchaser for the Goods despatched.
e While every endeavour will be made to keep to dates promised for dispatch, they must be deemed estimates only and will not involve the Company in any liability for failure to deliver within such dates. In all cases, whether a date for dispatch is quoted or not, the date for dispatch shall be extended by a reasonable period if delay is caused by instructions from the Buyer or by industrial dispute or any other cause whatsoever beyond the Company's control. Each delivery shall be considered as a separate contract and the failure of any delivery shall not vitiate the contract as to other deliveries.
5. Proof of Delivery
a The Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the Company, its employees, or subcontractors may take photographs or video recordings at the point of delivery for the sole purposes of:
i. Confirming delivery and the condition of the goods at the time of handover
ii. Recording any site conditions relevant to the delivery
iii. Providing evidence in the event of a delivery dispute.
b. Images may include the goods, delivery location, and, where unavoidable, incidental images of individuals. The Company will take reasonable steps to avoid capturing identifiable images unless necessary. All images remain the property of the Company and may be stored, used, and disclosed for business purposes, including insurance, claims, and legal proceedings. Any personal data captured will be handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Buyer may not unreasonably withhold consent. Refusal may impact resolution of delivery disputes.
6. Customer Collections
a. Customers can order goods for collection from The Company’s main premisesFW Hipkin Ltd., Acorn House, Coppen Road, Dagenham, Essex, RM8 1NU.
b. Goods must be collected on the date of sale or on an agreed date thereafter
c. Goods must be collected within 5 business days after the date of sale.
d. The Company has the right to cancel a collection order if the goods are not collected on the date of sale or within 5 business days.
e. Customer collections are subject to the same Terms of Payment as Delivered Goods.
f. Customers must adhere to on-site safety procedures if collecting goods from The Company’s main premises.
7. Cancellations
a. Cancellation of any order, or part of an order, will only be accepted with the Company’s prior consent.
b. The Company may cancel any order at its sole discretion.
8. Special Items
a. “Special Items” (non-stock products) are goods not stocked by the Company and specially ordered for the Buyer
b. Delivery periods for Special Items are not guaranteed and may have extended lead times.
c. Standard stock discounts do not apply to Special Items unless agreed.
d. Special Items are non-returnable.
9. Special Offers
a. Special Offers refers to promotions the Company runs on selected Goods for a stated period.
b. Special Offers are subject to availability.
c. The Company reserves the right to cancel or change special offers without notice.
d. Any discount on standard stock ranges will not be applicable to Special Offers unless agreed by the Company
e. Discounts on Special Offers do not apply after the offer period ends.
10. Returns
a. Goods may only be returned at the agreement and acceptance of the Company
b. Returned goods must be in perfect re-saleable condition, in original packaging, and accompanied by the original invoice/order number
c. There will be a restocking charge of at least 10% of the net invoice of the price of goods. This charge may increase depending on the manufacturer. Goods returned must be adequately identified, well packed and sent carriage paid by the Buyer
d. No return of any kind will be accepted after more than 30 days from the date of delivery
e. Return of Special Items for restock will not be accepted under any circumstances.
f. Some manufacturers require additional supporting information to accept returns.
11. Shortages, Damages and Defects
a. No responsibility can be accepted for damages or shortages unless the goods are signed for as such on the delivery sheet or delivery documents issued to our drivers.
b. Damages or shortages must be reported to the Company or carrier within 72 hours of delivery.
c. The Company, not being manufacturers, are compelled to stipulate that they cannot accept any responsibility for consequential damage in the event of failure of the goods for any reason whatsoever. The goods are sold with the benefit of any express guarantee which may be given by the manufacturers but subject thereto all conditions and warranties whether statutory or otherwise are expressly excluded.
d. In no case is the Company liable for consequential damage, or reimbursement costs whatsoever of any kind. In all cases, the relevant Invoice/Delivery Note number must be given before any goods will be collected. Any goods returned to the Company, for whatever reason, that do not conform to the above conditions will be delivered back to the Purchaser and credit will not be passed.
e. The Company reserves the right to repair or replace defective parts only, rather than replace the complete article.
12. Display Items
a. Where a special price is obtained in return for the products being on display, the following conditions will also apply:
i. The display must satisfy all the conditions laid down by the manufacturer
ii. The display must be properly maintained for a minimum period, usually at least 12 months from the date it is first put on display to the public (not when it was delivered).
b. The product must be put on display within 8 weeks of delivery
c. Non-compliance may result in a supplementary invoice for the price difference.
d. Where a manufacturer offers a “cashback” incentive, the full invoice price remains payable by the normal due date.
13. Insolvency & All Monies Clause
a. In the event of the Buyer's death, incapacity or entering into liquidation whether compulsory or voluntary (except for the purpose of reconstruction or amalgamation) or if the Buyer shall be subject to bankruptcy laws or make any assignment agreement or composition with his creditors the Company may declare the contract cancelled without prejudice to any other right which may have the purchase price of all goods and materials invoiced and/or delivered shall immediately become due for payment.
b. Legal title in the goods shall not pass to the buyer until all sums due on the seller's account have been paid.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
a. Any contract subsisting between the Company and the Buyer shall be construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and unless otherwise agreed is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. Clerical errors and omissions are subject to correction without notice.

Delivery Exclusions
The below areas are subject to delivery exclusions and cannot be serviced on a next-day delivery basis. A delivery surcharge cost may be applied to these areas. Please contact our sales team before placing your order.
Faulty products from some manufacturers require additional supporting information before they can be returned. See the below list of manufacturers that have a specific procedure for faulty returns. • Any units that are uninstalled before Ariston have been contacted void the warranty and the return will be rejected.
• Ariston items not required and in a perfect resaleable condition can be returned to us, subject to a restocking charge and our returns terms & conditions.
• Any special-order Ariston items are non-returnable.
• Contact our sales team on 0208 984 1000 to report the fault with all relevant information.
DAB
Grundfos
• The item will NOT be collected until the fault has been reported to DAB and a manufacturer credit has been authorised.
• Contact our sales team on 0208 984 1000 to report the fault with all relevant information.
• An image of the front plate of the product and the nature of the fault must be obtained.
• The item will NOT be collected until the fault has been reported to Grundfos and a manufacturer credit has been authorised.
• All faulty Heatmiser products need to be reported to Heatmiser by the customer.
• IF ALREADY INSTALLED, DO NOT UNINSTALL A FAULTY PRODUCT.
• Contact Heatmiser on 01254 669090 Option 2 to report a fault and discuss a solution with their customer care team.
• If they suspect the item to be faulty, they will advise a batch/returns number.

Tyde / Thomas Dudley
Troubleshooting
• ONLY when a batch/returns number has been obtained are we able to raise a collection note and collect the product.
• Without this we are unable to return the product to Heatmiser for a credit or replacement.
• If the item has been returned to us and Heatmiser advise that no fault is found, then the goods will be sent back to the customer and no credit will be issued.
• All faulty Plasson products need to be reported to Plasson by the customer
• Contact Plasson on 01444 244446 or at sales@plasson.co.uk to report the fault and they will advise of the procedure.
• Tyde / Thomas Dudley test all faulty returns to determine the issue, if any.
• A credit cannot be issued until Tyde / Thomas Dudley have confirmed a fault with the product.
• If the item has been returned to us and Tyde / Thomas Dudley advise that no fault is found, then the goods will be sent back to the customer and no credit will be issued.

Tesla UK Immersions
• Clear the memory
• Press and hold the Test / Silence button. The alarm will beep and the red and green LED’s will flash 7 times. Once the 7 beeps have sounded release the button. (the 7th beep is a little longer than the rest) The alarm is now fully reactivated.
• NOTE: the alarm will still sense CO whilst the alarm is the memory function mode.
• Telsa UK have put a label on the side of the cap to encourage installers and users to call the technical help line in the case of a faulty product. They are often able to diagnose the problem over the phone.
• Contact Tesla UK on 0121 686 8711 or at technical@teslauk.com to report the fault.
• If Tesla UK advise that the issue cannot be resolved then the item can be returned for credit.
• If the item has been returned to us and Tesla UK advise that no fault is found, then the goods will be sent back to the customer and no credit will be issued.
