Furman’s premier scholarships include participation in The Riley Institute’s Advantage Scholars Program and membership in Furman’s Community of Scholars, which provides access to faculty mentors and social, cultural and intellectual programing throughout the year. Duke Scholarships Full scholarship covering tuition, room, board and all fees, renewable for four years. Up to eight scholarships awarded annually. Joseph A. Vaughn Scholarships Full scholarship covering tuition, room, board and all fees, renewable for four years for S.C. residents. Up to five scholarships awarded annually.
John D. Hollingsworth Scholarships $46,000 per year, renewable for four years for S.C. residents. Charles H. Townes Scholarships $46,000 per year, renewable for four years for non-S.C. residents.
NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID Need-based financial aid is awarded as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Need-based aid may be awarded as an institutional grant, federal grant, federal loan, or federal work-study, or in combination.
