Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico (FCPR) dedicates this 2017-2018 Annual Report to the nonprofit organizations that kept their love and commitment toward their communities alive before and after Hurricanes Irma and María (September 2017). After both storms, the organizations stepped up as the first responders to communities overwhelmed by the absence of basic services. They hit the streets, searched, improvised and executed masterfully — an unanticipated and highly necessary response,
which for many represented the difference between life and death. To you, we dedicate this Annual Report.
