PROVIDENCIA ECOLOGICAL PARK: A NATURAL LEGACY FOR THE CAUCA VALLEY AND A REGENERATIVE FUTURE
At Providencia, we believe that sustainability is not a trend, but a way of doing things.
This vision is tangibly reflected in one of our programs, the Providencia Ecological Park, where we are working to restore two key ecosystems in the Valle del Cauca: the Tropical Dry Forest and the High Andean Forest, thereby demonstrating our commitment to conservation, biodiversity, and regenerative development.

What is the Providencia Ecological Park?
The Providencia Ecological Park is an area of approximately 524 hectares located on two properties in the townships of Toche, in the municipality of Palmira, and Santa Elena, in the municipality of El Cerrito, in Valle del Cauca.
This program was launched in 2016 and has become a wildlife sanctuary and a vital ecological corridor in the Amaime and Cerrito river basins.
What is its purpose?
The parkʼs main purpose is to protect and restore these ecosystems by contributing to the regeneration of the Cerrito and Amaime rivers, creating biological corridors, protecting water sources, and protecting and conserving native and endemic species.

Beyond protecting nature, the Providencia Ecological Park aims to:
Promote ecosystem restoration by planting native species and protecting water sources.
Promote birdwatching and ecotourism as a way to connect people with nature.
Raise environmental awareness among visitors, students, and local communities.
