Reaching 100 years reflects the strength of a company that has known how to adapt, evolve, and stay relevant consistently over time. A company that from the beginning understood that growing is not just about producing more, but doing it responsibly, taking care of people, strengthening communities, and respecting the environment. Today, Providencia is a company that continues to evolve with the conviction to generate value, drive development, and inspire a better, sweeter, and sustainable world. RTDs meet a clear demand: convenience without sacrificing quality, creating new occasions for consumption like events, the beach, festivals, or gatherings.

Sustainability in Action Providencia Ecological Park: A natural legacy for the Valle del Cauca and the regenerative future At Providencia, we believe that sustainability isn’t a trend, but a way of doing things. This vision is tangibly expressed in one of our programs, the Providencia Ecological Park, where we work on restoring two key ecosystems in the Valle del Cauca: the Tropical Dry Forest and the High Andean Forest, thus showing our commitment to conservation, biodiversity, and regenerative development. What is the Providencia Ecological Park? The Providencia Ecological Park is an area of approximately 524 hectares located on two properties in the districts of Toche, in the municipality of Palmira, and Santa Elena in the municipality of El Cerrito in Valle del Cauca. This program started in 2016 and has become a sanctuary for wildlife and a vital ecological corridor in the Amaime and Cerrito river basins. What is its purpose? The main purpose of the park is to protect and restore these ecosystems, contributing to the regeneration of the Cerrito and Amaime rivers, creating biological corridors, protecting water sources, and protecting and conserving native and endemic species.

Sustainability in Action What are we looking for with the park? Beyond protecting nature, the Providencia Ecological Park aims to:
Promote the regeneration of ecosystems through the planting of native species and the protection of water sources.
Promote birdwatching and ecotourism as a way to connect people with nature.
Raise environmental awareness among visitors, students, and local communities.
Generate sustainable development and local jobs, involving communities in the conservation and operation of the park. Question: Master Simón, after so many years in the industry, what do you think really sets a reliable rum apart from an exceptional one? Simón Pereira replies: Over more than 40 years in this industry, I’ve learned something fundamental: the inspiration of a master rum maker is important, but what really builds great brands is that this inspiration carries the mark of consistency. And that consistency doesn’t come from a boardroom. It comes from here… in the technical heart of the process: in fermentation, in the distillery, in aging, and in the lab. At Providencia Bulk Rum, our lab isn’t just another step in the operation. It’s where we back up our quality promise. It’s where we make sure every barrel delivers exactly what it’s supposed to: stability, flavor profile, trust, and consistency. Each production is rigorously analyzed, batch by batch, under strict international standards and based on each market we operate in. We assess critical parameters that ensure the final product is consistent, safe, and aligned with our customers' requirements. But the lab doesn't work alone. It's directly connected to the fermentation, distillation, and aging team:
a human group that combines operational discipline, technical knowledge, and respect for the origin of our raw material. Here, every detail matters: from fermentation, distillation, and natural aging, to rigorous quality control and traceability. What we achieved in Providencia is something powerful: we turned the chemistry of sugarcane into a solid foundation for global brands. At one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of spirits, The Rum & Cachaça Masters, organized by The Spirits Business in London, our team and our rums shone bright once again on a demanding international stage.
These awards are the result of the constant work of our distillery, laboratory, and quality team, who day by day turn the spirit of the cane into rums that not only compete at the highest level… but surpass it.
