RETREATS AT MAIN CAMP At Frost Valley YMCA, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to bond with the people who mean the most to them in the great outdoors. That is why we invite you and your family to join us on our 5,500 acres in the Catskills. Come hike our many trails, enjoy scenic views at High Falls, take a canoe out with your children on Lake Cole, or test your courage on our high ropes challenges like the zipline. These are the moments that turn a simple weekend away in the mountains into traditions that last for generations to come. Join us in the autumn when the foliage is at its peak and activities include: making apple cider, painting pumpkins, and going on hayrides. Visit us in the winter for crosscountry skiing*, snowshoeing*, or ice fishing*. The springtime is perfect for exploring the wildflowers along our trails, stargazing at our observatory, or sharing songs and stories around the campfire. Although the seasons may change, the children may be getting bigger, the family may be spreading out, or the job may be getting busier, we all deserve time not only to be outdoors, but also to spend time together. RETREATS AT EAST VALLEY RANCH East Valley Ranch is located on a stretch of fields and woodlands along the Neversink River just 14 miles from Main Camp. Surrounded by panoramic mountain views and picturesque horse pastures, the grounds feature a 26-stall horse barn, high and low ropes courses, arts and crafts studio, outdoor game areas and scenic viewpoints to enjoy the beauty of the Catskills. Join us for a retreat and enjoy activities like horseback riding lessons, hiking, arts and crafts, an indoor bouldering wall, and more! Visit our nearby farm, complete with plenty of animals and fresh produce. After exploring our hiking trails that cover miles of wilderness, you’ll appreciate our fresh and tasty meals prepared on-site by our private chefs, who are always happy to accommodate special requests and dietary needs. East Valley Ranch is a glistening landscape of snow and splendor in the wintertime. Try cross-country skiing or a half-day snowshoe hike and explore the true beauty of winter.* Our staff will also teach you survival skills for the cold, including shelter building, how to start a fire in winter, and campfire cooking techniques. Try the ropes courses and soar on the “Pegasus.” Learn to track animals in the snow and how they adapt and thrive in this unique environment. Reunions are also available on weekends at Main Camp if you prefer to mingle with other families and groups. Contact us about booking the entire site and have East Valley Ranch to yourselves! FREE to cancer survivors (once each year). Friends and families pay the standard rate with free camp-style lodging. We provide retreats for cancer survivors and their families to help build a firm path to wellness in Spirit, Mind, and Body. These weekends allow survivors a chance to connect with others who have shared a similar journey and gives caregivers a chance to gain valuable support as well. With our focus on wellness and camaraderie, our nurturing environment can accommodate many specific needs.
AUTISM FAMILY SUPPORT WEEKENDS

FREE to guests with autism spectrum disorder. Friends & families pay the standard rate with free camp-style lodging. Frost Valley provides families with opportunities for friendship, support, and networking, as well as the potential to relax, play, and bond in nature. Meet other families, make new friends, and watch your loved one build confidence while trying new things or enjoying old favorites, all with the assurance that you are part of a community that understands your journey. VOLUNTEER WORK WEEKENDS
September 19-21, 2025 • November 7-9, 2025 April 24-26, 2026: Frost Rally Volunteer Weekend* $20 per person
Spend the weekend at Frost Valley giving back to the camp you love! Arrive on Friday night for a campfire briefing. Be prepared for a full, eight-hour volunteer work day on Saturday, involving a variety of projects like trailblazing, painting, cleaning up and clearing out, building, and special projects. Enjoy our Sunday morning programs after breakfast. Volunteers pay a reduced rate to help with meals and project materials. *Help us fundraise for camp for Frost Rally Volunteer Weekend.

We partner with educators to design and provide day and overnight Environmental Education Field Trips in our vast outdoor classroom, where learning is experiential and student-centered. Almost all classes are taught outside and can be customized to your group.
Our facilitators will help your team redefine goal setting, explore the importance of teamwork, sharpen communication, laugh and enjoy one another, and push the limits to move participants from their static comfort zones into dynamic, reinvigorated growth zones!
