During the first six months of occupancy, we had a basement leak. The builder investigated and traced it to inadequate exterior drainage affecting part of the foundation. The original foundation contractor (Jerry’s Foundations) completed a minor repair, and the builder added buried downspout drains to correct the drainage issue. There have been no water problems or signs of recurrence since.
