Another year, another showappearedbeforeour eyesas the Middle School performed themusical, Shrekjr. You might remember last year's musical, The Lion KingJr. Well, the Middle School director, Ms Gordon, has created another masterpiece based offof the hit Broadway musical, Shrek!
On Friday November 10th, Ms. Gordon and the Shrek}r. cast took time out of their morning to come down to the Lower School and perform some of the songs in the musical. Though they wore no costumes, it was a joy for everyone to see these Middle Schooler's talents.

The cast performed three songs from their show. The first one was "Big Bright Beautiful World", the second one was "Story of my Life", and the third one they performed was "Morning Person".
After seeing the preview at the Lower School, some friends went to the Upper campus Friday, November 17th or Sunday, November 19th and saw the full show in the meeting room of Shallcross Hall. This time the cast had amazing costumes and a beautiful set. It was an AWESOME performance and definitely one performance everyone should have seen. After the show on Sunday, the cast, crew, and audience got to enjoy cold and creamy ice cream in the REXateria.

"We're Wall<ing in the Air" was sungby the Lower School chorusat this year's winter concert! Do you like singing? If you do thenjoin the 4th and5thgrade chorus. The 4thand 5thgrade chorus is a group of people who love to sing so much that they devote 45 minutes of every Monday to sing songs and practice for the spring and winter concerts.
This year'swintershowcasewas based on our fall theme, The Arts. As our principal, l<elly Pierre, beautifully stated, "It was clear howmuch the students have learned about singing, listening and responding to music as they sang and moved in response to what they were hearing."
