Mosaic Making

Create your own mosaics! Learn how to make mosaics from start to finish, from making and painting your ceramic tiles to positioning and sealing them. For the first project, a flower pot, ceramic dishes, adhesive and grout will be provided. Participants must bring their own eye protection and gloves for the first class. For the second project, you will create your own project using ceramic tiles you make yourself. Adult Softball League - Winter/Spring Friday Co-Ed

Adult Softball League is back this season! The twelve (12) week league has a men’s division and coed division with one playoff week for top teams in each division. Games will be played at the Central Park Sports Complex. Team Captain should use “Team Registration” to create team to register and pay the team balance in full. Team members should register through “Team Registration” once the team has already been created with a password by selecting from the dropdown list. Free Agents should use “Individual Registration” and submit the Free Agent Form (linked) - individuals will be contacted by a registered Team Manager or a City of Fremont Team Member if able to be placed on a team. Placement is not guaranteed. Winter/Spring Season will begin the week of March 27, 2026.All Managers must register their teams online by March 1, 2026. 10 players per team must be registered online by March 8, 2026.Team Registration fee includes League & Umpire Fees as a whole. Introduction to tennis for Adults with no prior instruction and limited play experience. Learn how to rally by week one. The focus of this course will be strokes, rules, and match play.

This is an introduction to pickleball for new players. Over the course of this session players will learn the fundamentals of volleying, serves, rallying, and shot placement. Each hour and a half lesson will consist of 45 minutes of skill development (instruction, drills, etc.), and 45 minutes of play where students will get to test their newfound skills on the court. Little Sluggers T Ball League

Golf - Junior Academy

With curriculum designed to make learning the game of golf fun and memorable for junior golfers of all ages and skill levels, students are taught in a structured yet relaxed environment. From beginners to aspiring high school and collegiate golfers, the Junior Golf Academy offers the opportunity to learn, improve and hone their golf skills. $25 material fee due at first class. Prep (Ages 6-9): The #1 objective is to teach cadets that golf is fun, manners and the game of a lifetime through the fundamentals of the swing, chipping and putting in most classes. JV (Ages 10-13): The program is designed for elementary and middle school golfers with beginner and intermediate skill levels to prepare them for tournament competition. The curriculum will include swing technique, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play, rules and etiquette.

Pickleball- Beginner Youth Clinic

The City of Fremont is proud to introduce our Pickleball- Beginner Youth Clinic! This activity is meant to introduce children ages 8 & up to one of the fastest growing sports in the country! Our certified coaches will teach kids the fundamentals of the game such as the “kitchen”, ground strokes, volleying, and dinking. Introduce your youth to the game of cricket. We cover the basics, including how to be part of a team while demonstrating good sportsmanship! No score is kepteveryone is a winner! For 1-hour each week your child will receive skills introduction for first 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes of game play, which can start at either 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM. Rege’s Soccer Cup

This adapted Soccer League is loosely structured to give players the opportunity to be outside and get active playing soccer through scrimmages and tournament cup themed play! The coaches will reinforce good plays, have breaks, change players on teams and who they play to make sure it is as balanced and fun as possible. Youth Flag Football League

The City of Fremont and Fremont Football League are offering a Youth Flag Football League for boys and girls ages 7–15. Flag Football is a safe and educational way for youth to enjoy the game of football while learning sportsmanship, competition, teamwork, and the fundamentals. The Winter–Spring season includes 3 weeks of pre-game practices, 8 games of league play, up to 2 weeks of playoffs, and a reversible jersey and flag. Teams will practice a minimum of one day a week, with the coach/team having the option of holding additional practices on their own. Practice participation is required for the safety of all players, and practice and game schedules will be set after teams are formed. Register by February 2nd to receive your practice schedule before practices begin the week of February 9th. Please note that games are approximately 1.5 hours and scheduled on Mondays between 5:30–8:30 p.m., while practice times may vary on weekday evenings. Campers will learn to play tennis culminating in a friendly team competition on the last day of camp. Junior Golf Camp

With curriculum designed to make learning the game of golf fun and memorable for junior golfers of all ages and skill levels, students are taught in a structured yet relaxed environment. From beginners to aspiring high school and collegiate golfers, the Junior Golf Academy offers the opportunity to learn, improve and hone their golf skills. $25 material fee due at first class. JV (Ages 10-13): The program is designed for elementary and middle school golfers with beginner and intermediate skill levels to prepare them for tournament competition. The curriculum will include swing technique, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play, rules and etiquette. Varsity (Ages 12-16): This program is designed for the junior golfer who is tryout out for their high school team and for beginner golfers - includes the TPI fitness curriculum, intense swing development, trajectory control around the green, putting drills, and developing a routine for every shot and bunker play.

CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity.

2. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise.

3. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. I further acknowledge that no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are allowed if requested up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check.

TRANSFER POLICY

Transfers are allowed up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service.

CANCELLATIONS

We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class.

NON-RESIDENT FEES

For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class.

SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT

Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov and search scholarships. Donations are tax deductible.
