Never Lose Hope Christmas: The Heavenly Hope Dr. John Ed Mathison | Dec. 22, 2024 Luke 2:8-12 (Matthew 6:10) Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. (Romans 8:24) For in this hope we were saved. (Hebrews 10:23) Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. (Isaiah 40:31) but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Hebrews 6:19) We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain ... I. H -- HUMILITY .( Philippians 2:8) And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (James 4:6) Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:10) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. (II Chronicles 7:14) if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

II. O -- OTHERS

(Leviticus 19:18) you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD. (Mark 12:31) The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
