God departs the city (Ez. 11:22-25) The Corrupt Leaders: (Ez. 11:1-13) The Remnant: (Ez. 11:14-21) 1. God promises to be the people’s sanctuary. (Ez. 11:16) 2. God will reassemble His people. (Ez. 11:17) 3. God’s people will remove their idols. (Ez. 11:18) 4. God will give a new covenant. (Ez. 11:19) 5. God’s people will desire to follow Him faithfully. (Ez. 11:20) The Warning: Judgment comes to corrupt hearts. (Ez. 11:21) God’s presence withdraws from the city: (Ez. 11:22-25) (Matthew 23:37-38) “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me. And now, look, your house is abandoned and desolate.
