Inescapable Judgment Ezekiel 14:12-23 Dr. Stephen Streett | April 29, 2026 1. The Mask of the Heart • God isn’t seeking perfection; He wants a yielded heart. • Transformation only begins when we stop pretending. • The Creator wants to be known—why do we choose to ignore Him? 2. Righteousness is Non-Transferable • The Big Three: Even the combined merit of Noah, Daniel, and Job couldn’t save Israel (Ezek. 14:14). • Individual Responsibility: Association with believers or godly parents isn’t a “salvation pass.” • Key Truth: Your profession of Christ is your decision alone. 3. The Warning of Judgment • Four Judgments: War, famine, wild beasts, and disease. • These trials remind us of our total dependence on God. • Survivors in Babylon were just as wicked—God’s judgment is always righteous (Neh. 9:33). 4. Our Hope & Legacy • The Lamb: Jesus is the sacrifice the Old Testament law couldn’t provide. • The Promise: Nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:38). • The Identity: You are “chosen” and “set apart” (1 Peter 2:9). • Humble your heart and confess (Lev. 26:40-42). • Challenge: You are a royal priesthood. Will you step out of the darkness and into His light?
