Fall 2026 Guide Connecting People Through Memorable Experiences
Letter from the Director
Dear Friends and Community Members, As the seasons change and we settle into the routines of fall, it's a great time to reflect on what makes the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District so special, our community. Whether you're joining us for a fitness class, youth program, or simply stopping by to connect with friends, your participation helps shape the experiences we provide. This fall, we're excited to begin one of our most important planning efforts: a Community Needs Assessment. This process will help us better understand the recreation needs, interests, and priorities of our residents and visitors while guiding future programs, facilities, and services for years to come. Your voice is an essential part of this process. Over the coming months, you'll have opportunities to participate through community meetings, information sessions, and a district-wide survey. We encourage everyone to take part, share ideas, and help us better understand how we can continue serving our growing and evolving community. While planning for the future, we're also excited about everything happening this fall. Be sure to check out new programs like Treehouse Adventure for teens, along with returning community favorites including our Fall Open House, Health & Wellness Fair, and Holiday Artisan Fair. We hope you'll join us as we continue creating opportunities to connect, explore, and have fun together. At FVMRD, we believe the best decisions are made together. Every conversation, survey response, and community meeting will help us identify opportunities, address challenges, and build a recreation district that reflects the needs and values of those we serve. As you explore this Fall Program Guide, we hope you'll find opportunities to stay active, learn something new, and spend time with family and friends. Thank you for being part of our community, and we look forward to seeing you this fall.
