NEIGHBOURING SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE Dear Resident, Homes Victoria, part of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, has recently released more information on the redevelopment of the two social housing buildings fronting Elgin Street and Nicholson Street in Carlton. As these buildings neighbour your property, we want to ensure you’re aware of the latest information. Frasers Property is liaising with Homes Victoria’s engagement team, and we have been provided the information below. We will have regular briefings with Homes Victoria so we can ensure we keep you updated with the latest information relating to the redevelopment. Homes Victoria’s community engagement process begins this month, and a community consultation committee is scheduled to be formed in July. There are two community consultation sessions currently planned: • Thursday 27 June 10am - 12noon at the Church of All Nations (180 Palmerston Street, Carlton VIC); and • Saturday 29 June 10am - 12noon at “Our Place” Carlton Primary School (150 Palmerston Street, Carlton VIC). You can also take part in the community consultation online now until July 10. The form to submit an Expression of Interest for the consultation committee is on this site. At this stage, the project timeline on the Government’s website indicates: Timeline 19 June – 10 July August to end of 2024 August 2024 – End of 2024 October 2024 Late 2024 – Late 2025 2025 2025-2027 Early 2026-2028 2028

As background, Homes Victoria is planning to build a total of 231 modern, accessible, and energy efficient homes on these two neighbouring sites. These homes will replace the old 196 apartments in the red brick towers which are currently vacant. These new homes will be delivered through a partnership between the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments and are part of the Commonwealth Government’s Social Housing Accelerator Program.
