EDITORIAL
El diseño editorial refleja la cultura y la sociedad de la época en la que se produce. No solo comprende a los medios impresos, sino también a los formatos digitales. Numerosos periódicos y revistas se publican en línea y necesitan de un diseño específico para llegar a su público. El desarrollo de publicaciones para tabletas va en aumento, al igual que las aplicaciones móviles para diferentes libros. Los diseños de las revistas, de hecho, están basados en una composición tipográfica clara, desde el texto principal hasta el título. Encontrar el patrón y la clase de tipografía adecuada ayudará a la revista en general y a sus publicaciones en particular a que pueden encontrar su voz específica y atraer a los lectores. Existen muchos enfoques diferentes, pero uno de los más importantes es el minimalismo. Algunas características complementarias pueden crear más impacto sobre todo cuando hablamos de escoger tipografías para las noticias en sí, lo cual queremos que esta sea nuestra imagen actual. Esta edición se propone generar un número más práctico y legible, moderno y audaz.
Editorial design reflects the culture and society of the time in which it is produced. It not only includes print media, but also digital formats. Many newspapers and magazines are published online and need a specific design to reach their audience. The development of publications for tablets is on the rise, as are mobile applications for different books. The magazine designs, in fact, are based on a clear typographic composition, from the main text to the title. Finding the right typography pattern and class will help the magazine in general and its publications in particular to find their specific voice and attract readers. There are many different approaches, but one of the most important is minimalism. Some complementary features can create more impact especially when we talk about choosing fonts for the news itself, which we want this to be our current image. This edition aims to generate a more practical and readable number, modern and bold.

UNA DE LAS LIBRERÍAS MÁS HERMOSAS DEL MUNDO ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOKSTORES IN THE WORLD El Ateneo Grand Splendid es una librería ubicada en el barrio de Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Destaca por situarse donde lo hiciera el teatro Grand Splendid,habiendo conservado la arquitectura original de dicho teatro, pero estando a su vez readaptado para funcionar como librería. En 2008, fue elegida por el periódico británico The Guardian como la segunda librería más hermosa del mundo,y el 7 de enero de 2019 National Geographic la tituló la librería más bella del mundo. La cúpula mide 20 m x 19 m x 3,65 m. La técnica para pintar la obra que en ella se ve fue la de pintura al óleo, y su realizador fue Nazareno Orlandi. Se trata de una representación alegórica de la paz, pintada en 1919 como un festejo por el fin de la Primera Guerra Mundial. La paz está representada por una sensual figura femenina que se halla pintada sobre una escalinata rodeada de flores. Los diferentes representantes del mundo en conflicto la secundan, festejando el restablecimiento de su poder. Guirnaldas de flores, nubes que han dejado detrás la tormentosa guerra.

The Ateneo Grand Splendid is a bookstore located in the Recoleta neighborhood, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It stands out for being located where the Grand Splendid theater did, having preserved the original architecture of said theater, but being at the same time readapted to function as a bookstore. In 2008, it was chosen by the British newspaper The Guardian as the second most beautiful bookstore in the world, and on January 7, 2019 National Geographic named it the most beautiful bookstore in the world. The dome measures 20 m x 19 m x 3.65 m. The technique to paint the work that can be seen in it was oil painting, and its maker was Nazareno Orlandi. It is an allegorical representation of peace, painted in 1919 as a celebration for the end of the First World War. . Peace is represented by a sensual female figure that is painted on a staircase surrounded by flowers. El edificio actual fue iniciado en 1917 e inaugurado en mayo de 1919 por el empresario de origen austríaco Max Glücksmann. Él encargó su construcción con el fin de instalar un cine-teatro sobre los cimientos de lo que otrora fuera el Teatro Nacional Norte. Diseñado por los arquitectos Peró y Torres Armengol y construido por los arquitectos Pizoney y Falcope, el flamante teatro fue denominado “Gran Splendid”.8Contaba con cuatro hileras de palcos y una platea con capacidad para 500 personas.En él desfilaron grandes personalidades del tango como Ignacio Corsini, Roberto Firpo (quien le dedicó el tango Gran Splendid, en 1927)y Carlos Gardel, quien empezó a grabar para el sello Nacional Odeón (actualmente EMI), en 1920, que Glücksman había instalado en el edificio. Hay quienes afirman que en este lugar Glücksmann le enseñó a Gardel como podía hacer para darle más potencia a su voz en las grabaciones: poniéndose detrás de una silla y tomándose con las manos del respaldo, de manera de poder expandir su caja torácica. La sala donde Gardel grababa aún existe en el edificio, pero no es de acceso público.Entre 1919 y 1982 funcionó como teatro y por su escenario pasaron los más talentosos artistas argentinos y extranjeros. La última obra teatral aquí presentada fue Perciavalle a pleno color, de Carlos Perciavalle en 1982. Entre 1924 y 1930, Glücksmann contribuyó al desarrollo de la música rioplatense a través de eventos especiales, particularmente con los estimulantes Concursos del Gran Splendid. Desde 1982 hasta 1999 funcionó como cinesala.

The current building was begun in 1917 and opened in May 1919 by Austrian-born businessman Max Glücksmann. He commissioned its construction in order to install a cinema-theater on the foundations of what was once the North National Theater. Designed by the architects Peró and Torres Armengol and built by the architects Pizoney and Falcope, the brand new theater was called “Gran Splendid”.8 It had four rows of boxes and an audience with capacity for 500 people. Great personalities paraded in it of tango such as Ignacio Corsini, Roberto Firpo (who dedicated the tango Gran Splendid to him, in 1927) and Carlos Gardel, who began recording for the Nacional Odeón label (currently EMI), in 1920, which Glücksman had installed in the building. Between 1924 and 1930, Glücksmann contributed to the development of River Plate music through special events, particularly with the stimulating Concursos del Gran Splendid. The space allows visitors to take pictures –including a recreation of platform 9-, access all the books in the saga, and also purchase all Harry Potter-related products such as wands, stockings, scarves, key rings, pins and more. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself and breathe the spirit of Harry Potter. The idea of opening a section dedicated to Harry Potter on the ground floor of the famous 1800 Santa Fe Avenue bookstore came from the Warner production company, in homage to the twenty years since the first film of the wizard boy, which was completed at the end of 2021. MALBA MUSEO DE ARTE LATINOAMERICANO El Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (Malba) – Fundación Costantini, más conocido simplemente como MALBA, es un museo argentino fundado en septiembre de 2001. Fue creado con el objetivo de coleccionar, preservar, estudiar y difundir el arte latinoamericano desde principios del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. Es una institución privada sin fines de lucro que conserva y exhibe un patrimonio de aproximadamente 400 obras de los principales artistas modernos y contemporáneos de la región. El Malba combina un calendario de exposiciones temporales, con la exhibición estable de su colección institucional, y funciona simultáneamente como un espacio plural de producción de actividades culturales y educativas. Ofrece ciclos de cine, literatura y diseño y lleva adelante una tarea de educativa a través de programas destinados a diferentes tipos de públicos. En mayo de 2007, el Malba fue declarado Sitio de Interés Cultural por parte de la Legislatura de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (Malba) - Fundación Costantini, better known simply as MALBA, is an Argentine museum founded in September 2001. It was created with the aim of collecting, preserving, studying and disseminating Latin American art from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present. It is a private non-profit institution that preserves and exhibits a heritage of approximately 400 works by the main modern and contemporary artists of the region. The Malba combines a calendar of temporary exhibitions, with the permanent exhibition of its institutional collection, and functions simultaneously as a plural space for the production of cultural and educational activities. It offers cycles of cinema, literature and design and carries out an educational task through programs aimed at different types of audiences. In May 2007, the Malba was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. EN -
