WELCOME TO TRADITIONAL WORSHIP We welcome those of you visiting with us today and pray that you connect with the Holy Spirit during your time here. We invite everyone to fill out the Friendship Pad as it is passed down your pew, or to complete the online version by scanning the QR code found on the Friendship Pad and printed to the left. SUNDAY MORNING FAMILY RESOURCES Children and families are always welcome in worship at FPC. Childcare for children ages 8 weeks–5 years is available each Sunday morning from 9:15 AM–12:00 PM for families who prefer to use it.

Nursing areas are available in Room 118, which includes a livestream video of the worship service, and on the second floor across from Westminster Hall in the parlor area of the women’s restroom. If your family needs a quiet space during worship, Guthrie Bryant Chapel is open and provides live audio of the service so you can continue participating comfortably.

Our gracious Savior, how many times must we fall before you in repentance? We are so broken. We desire to be holy, but apart from you, we are nothing. GLOBAL MISSIONS GLOBAL MISSIONS MONTH Throughout October, discover how FPC’s ministry partners share Christ’s love around the world—and how we can pray, serve, and participate.

GLOBAL MISSIONS PRAYER WALK: Visit the second floor anytime the church is open to explore five displays highlighting FPC’s Global Champion Teams and ministry partners. Pick up a prayer booklet and station map in the Mauzé Lobby, then visit the stations in any order. Each station includes images, stories, and prayer prompts.

PERSPECTIVES COURSE: See the Bible through God’s Global Mission Perspectives is a 15-week course exploring God’s global mission throughout Scripture and helping participants discover how they can participate through praying, giving, going, serving, discipling, and sharing the gospel.

FPC is joining First Baptist, Redeemer Presbyterian, and the San Antonio Area Mobilizing Network to offer the spring 2027 course at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. The course meets Thursdays, January 21–May 6, 2027, from 6:00–9:00 PM; the capstone project is due May 13. Registration is open at perspectives.org/courses/san-antonio-tx-s27. PRAY FOR AN UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP

THIS WEEK: Tajik LOCATION: Tajikistan

GLOBAL POPULATION: 12,350,800

Tajikistan is the poorest of the five former Soviet "-stan" countries. Most Tajiks are farmers and shepherds. Seasonal grasses create suitable pastures for raising sheep, goats, cattle, camels, and horses. They also practice a remarkable system of terraced, mountainside irrigation so that wheat and barley can be grown at the higher, dry altitudes. An increasing number of Tajiks have moved to the cities over the past 50 years. Poetry plays an integral part in Tajik culture. It is read and often sung at important celebrations. Even the Koran has been put to music. PRAYER: Pray that today’s people group would experience God’s wonderful grace and begin to tell others about Him. Pray that Tajik and Russian believers would live such holy lives that others would desire to have the same spiritual riches found only in Christ. Pray that Tajiks would not judge Christianity as a "Russian religion," but see their own need for salvation and the forgiveness of their sins from a sinless Savior. Ask God to raise up more long-term missionaries. Ask the Lord to raise up a movement to Christ among the Tajiks soon. Pray that the Psalms and Gospels be put to Tajik music.
