Hello! It’s me, Elayna! I’m so excited to be starting my second year here in Monticello! I really love it here, and so do my parents. I’ve even made new friends! Their names are Dee-Dee and Colby. Say hi!
Dad needed stuff for the remodeling of the driveway and knew that he could go to Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel to get what he needed for our yard. The people there were super helpful and Dad was able to figure out what he needed fast!
We were running low on snacks at home, so mom and dad decided it was time to do some grocery shopping. We went to Save A Lot because Mom knows she can get all the food we need there without having to pay a whole lot. That gives us more money for toys! We made sure to wear our masks because we want to be safe!

Union Bank today at their University Branch to deposit into our Johnny
Appleseed accounts! It was only $10
to open our accounts and they help us
to learn about saving money early. We
also get to do special activities with the
bank members every now and then and the bank has programs to help us want to save even more! Dad says saving
money is important for our futures.

Yay! I got to see Ms. Annette today at Monticello Coffee
Company! I always love seeing her smile. She’s the sweetest!
They have all kinds of hot and cold drinks year round. They also have lots of delicious food and treats.
Mom got a sugar-free vanilla iced
latte and I got a fancy lemonade! I don’t know about Mom’s, but my drink was super yummy!
Oh! I saw an ambulance go by
today! Mom says the ambulance
is meant for people in emergencies and that it helps transport people who need medical help really fast. She said that the people
at Monticello Ambulance are
amazing and awesome at helping people who need it real soon!

Dad’s going hunting soon and needed the right clothes to wear. Mom knew the place to go was Outfitters. Dad was able to find all the outdoor gear that he needed for his hunting trip! I hope he gets a big buck so that we can have lots of food!
Mom and Dad like to go see Dr. Reinhart at Reinhart Family Healthcare whenever they are sick. They say he is a great and experienced doctor they know and trust to take good care of them whenever they have a problem.
Mom and Dad were talking at dinner last night and said they were going to be voting for Senator Cheatham again. Mom says he stands for faith, family, and service and has done a great job serving as our state senator. I can’t wait to be old enough to vote, too! Mom says it’s a proud American right.

Uh-oh! Our air conditioning seems to be having some minor issues. Luckily, Dad knows he can call Griffin Heating and Air. We know that we can count on them to get our air conditioner back up and running really fast and that the job will be done right!

Mom and Dad are going to be doing some remodeling in the yard and stuff. They knew they needed a small loan to help cover the costs of getting everything done. Thank goodness they have Commercial Bank to help! Commercial Bank has loans for all kinds of needs and were able to help my family get everything done in no time!

They have a really cool building and the children’s doctor is so
nice! I used to be afraid of seeing the doctor, but the people at
Mainline make me feel safe and I’m not scared anymore.

Mom and Dad went to Majors Forest & Lawn and got a really awesome new mower for the yard! It’s automatic and mows the lawn all by itself! I love playing in our big yard and watching the mower do its job. It’s so cool! Majors also carries trimmers, leaf blowers and more to help make lawns happy!
