Volga Dream is now owned and operated by the Esakov family. The ship has been completely redesigned and refitted over 2 years in dry dock. All staff speak English and are personally chosen by the owners. With just about 100 passengers aboard and a crew of 60, the Volga Dream boasts the highest crew-to-passenger ratio on the river. Why upgrade to the Platinum programme... Small group sightseeing MS Volga Dream offers a choice of Gold or Platinum programmes. Gold programmes guests will enjoy sightseeing in groups of up to 25 people. Whilst Platinum programme guests will be in a group of a maximum of 15 people and will experience special extras such as Pushkin Museum, Russian Avant-garde Art Tour and tour of Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Tours in St. Petersburg include the turning on the Peacock Clock at the Hermitage Museum, early entrance to Catherine’s Palace in Pushkin and Russian Army Choir performance to name a few. Accommodation Accommodation varies depending on the programme you choose – Gold programme guests stay at the Marriott Aurora Royal Hotel in Moscow and the Kempinski Moika 22 in St. Petersburg.
