Join Annette on board Cruise & Maritime Voyages, Columbus, where she will show you different Patchwork techniques that you can use to make a piece of work, such as a cushion cover, table runner, a small quilt or wall hanging. She will also show you different quilting techniques both by hand and machine.
Discover southern Norway on this delightful autumn Nordic cruise. Located at the head of the Oslofjord, Oslo is encircled by wooded hills and peaks and features broad avenues, parks and elegant buildings. Kristiansand sits on Norway’s southern tip; a small 17th century town with a marina, museums and shops. In Stavanger, echoes of its proud maritime heritage. Its whitewashed 18th century houses are probably northern Europe’s best-preserved community of wooden houses.

- Machine threads to match your fabrics - Rotary cutter, cutting mat and cutting ruler* - Small travel iron and board if you have one - Fabrics - bring along a selection of fabrics you would like
to use, it is good if you have some contrasting colours, some bright fabrics and some lighter or darker fabrics**
- A metre of wadding - low loft wadding such as Hoobs
Heirloom would be appropriate, Annette will have some with her
- A larger piece of fabric (plain or patterned) about 1 metre for the backing - About 30 safety pins - Propelling pencil - Chalk marker for fabrics *A rotary cutter, ruler and mat can be purchased from a local Patchwork and Quilting shop in your area or look at the Barnyarns website under Patchwork and Quilting. 17” by 23” is a good size for a mat and you will need a 24” and 12” rotary ruler **Annette will have a selection of threads and fabrics with her for sale.
