Iguazu Falls & South America Adventure 24 days departing 7th March 2023 Andean peaks, Patagonian glaciers, Incan ruins, sandy beaches and a lively vibrant nightlife, are just some of the wonders of South America that set the stage for your incredible adventures. You will start in Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital city Buenos Aires, offering both a modern and traditional charm, this vibrant city is sure to keep you busy. The Buenos Aires food scene is increasingly the buzz around the city with new steak restaurants known locally as Parrillas, appearing all the time, for you to enjoy a juicy steak perfectly grilled and all washed down with a glass of malbec or bonarda. Of course Buenos Aires’ famous dance “Tango” is the city’s greatest export, which can be found across the city. To ensure you get into the spirit of Buenos Aires, spend an unforgettable evening at La Ventana Tango and enjoy a spectacular tango show, accompanied by live musicians and a delicious 3-course dinner. You will leave the city for half a day as you venture out of Buenos Aires to the Tigre Delta to explore the provincial towns of San Isidro and Tigre, including a 40-minute catamaran cruise around the stilted houses and islands of the Tigre Delta. It’s then time to embark on your cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago, a truly memorable journey around the tip of South America where you will stop at the popular Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), before cruising along Glacier Alley on your way to the Ushuaia which is the southernmost city before Antarctica. You will then make your way around Cape Horn and onto the Chilean Fjords. Make sure you have your camera at the ready for some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the world. On arrival in San Antonio you will transfer to Santiago where you stay a few nights to enable us to organise for you to venture into the Andes to the San Esteban Vineyard and Inca Lagoon. Then it’s time for the final leg of your journey to Iguazu Falls. Higher, more powerful and four times as wide as Niagara Falls, the UNESCO-listed Iguazu Falls are one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders.
Itinerary Day 1: Depart UK Fly London to Buenos Aires (overnight).
Day 2: Buenos Aires On arrival you will transfer to the 5-star Hilton Buenos Aires where you will stay for the next two nights.
