South American Coast & Chilean Discovery 23 days departing 20th February 2023 This amazing trip will have you journeying along the Chilean coast of South America, experiencing the very best of what this fascinating region has to offer. Starting in Santiago, Chile’s capital and largest city that sits in a valley surrounded by the snow-capped Andes and the Chilean Coast Range. We have included a tour of Santiago, fully guided by a knowledgeable local guide so that you will see all the most significant sights around the city, the highlight being the amazing panoramic views of Santiago from San Cristobal hill. The following day you will escape Santiago to enjoy the natural grandeur of the Andes during this day-long excursion to Cajón del Maipo where you will enjoy views of gushing waterfalls, icy glaciers, and towering cliffs, all capped off by savouring an included picnic of local foods and wines. You will then embark on a 14-night voyage along the Chilean coast, cruising the Chilean Fjords, sailing along the Sarmiento Channel, before daylight cruising the magnificent Glacier Alley to Ushuaia, known as the “end of the earth” it is the most southerly city in the world. Next day you will sail around Cape Horn before stopping at the Falkland Islands known locally as Islas Malvinas, always one of the most popular stops on the itinerary. Finally you will arrive at Buenos Aires, Argentina, a city filled with energy and packed full of sights and must do experiences. During your three-night stay we have organised a premium three-hour city tour, where you will see the grand presidential buildings of Plaza de Mayo, the modern waterfront of Puerto Madero and the cobblestone alleyways of San Telmo. As a grand finale to the trip you will experience an unforgettable Rojo Tango show, held in the glamorous Faena Hotel, where you will dine on a delicious 3-course dinner, sip sparkling wine and enjoy a spectacular night of show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and live music.

Day 4: Day Trip to Cajón Del Maipo
Fly London to Santiago, Chile (overnight).
It’s time to leave Santiago for the day as you venture to enjoy the natural grandeur of the Andes during a day-long excursion to Cajón del Maipo within a small group. Enjoy views of gushing waterfalls, icy glaciers, and towering cliffs as you visit this scenic outdoor area. Cap it all off by savouring an included picnic featuring red wine and a snack made with locally-sourced ingredients.
Day 2: Santiago On arrival in Santiago transfer to the 5-star Renaissance Santiago Hotel where you will base yourself for the next three nights.
Day 3: Santiago City Tour Today you will enjoy a relaxing morning or afternoon tour of Santiago itself, where you will explore Santiago’s most significant sights on a comprehensive private guided tour of the city. Visit legendary landmarks and impressive monuments in stylish transportation with a knowledgeable guide, discovering the bohemian neighbourhood of Bellavista and the neoclassical splendour of Moneda Palace.
