Toni Black is the CEO of House of Black, a luxury lifestyle studio and sister company to Blacksheep. Una Barac is an internationally recognized architect and the Founder and Executive Director of Atellior, a London- and Zagreb-based architecture and interior design studio renowned for its impactful work in the hospitality, luxury, and mixed-use sectors.
Una began her architectural career at the prestigious practice Foster + Partners, where she developed a strong foundation in design excellence, technical rigor, and attention to detail. She subsequently spent fourteen years in the hospitality design sector with a leading corporate architecture studio, during which she was responsible for delivering high-profile hotel and resort projects including Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera, Park Plaza developments along the Adriatic Coast, and Hilton Bournemouth, gaining valuable experience in large-scale waterfront and resort environments. In 2017, Una founded Atellior, growing the practice into a respected international studio delivering bespoke architectural and interior design solutions for world-class hotel brands and boutique hospitality clients across Europe. Her portfolio encompasses projects for major global hotel groups including Accor, Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental Hotel Group, Radisson Hotel Group, Four Seasons, and Kerzner International, among others.

Wren Loucks is the CEO & Creative Director of Be-kin. Be-kin is an award-winning interior design studio, that weaves together science with creativity, to create spaces that stimulate wellbeing. The studio is based in London, UK.
Wren has a long-standing and award-winning background in mental health advocacy and inclusive design. She studied Fine Art & Art History at Queen’s University, Canada, followed by a PostGraduate Diploma in Architectural Interior Design at the Inchbald School of Design in London, UK. She has worked for some of the top interior design studios. Wren is an MBA Candidate at University College London, where she is focusing on entrepreneurial leadership, data-driven design and sustainability.
In 2020, Wren launched Be-kin. Fuelled by research in wellness and sensory design, Be-kin aims to not only create beautiful interior designs, but to educate their clients o how they are affected by spaces across their senses. They find this process life-enhancing. For commercial clients, Be-kin aims to create spaces that support social sustainability—designing for a range of cognitive, physical and sensorial difference. The studio is currently working on a number of workspace designs, a Pilates studio and private residences.

When so much of design is based on the ‘look’ of something: the lighting, the colours, the overall aesthetic, how does someone with limited sight or blindness navigate and experience hospitality spaces? An intriguing panel discussion to help designers understand how they can design with touch and wayfinding in mind.
Hotel Designs’ Editor Sophie Harper is an established travel and design journalist and has worked on some of the UK’s most reputable publications and award-winning media campaigns in the last 15 years. As both a writer and editor, Sophie has specialised in hospitality design over the last decade, and has interviewed and hosted events with some of the most influential personalities in the industry. Sophie’s experience and knowledge have placed her in high demand as a consultant and speaker for a number of events. She currently sits on the advisory board for the Sustainable Design Summit and Hotel & Resort Design South, and regularly speaks at international events and exhibitions. As well as taking every opportunity to discuss all aspects of hotel design with leading experts across the industry, Sophie is passionate about shedding light on topics concerning ESG, technology, and inclusivity - and actively shines the spotlight on new and upcoming design talent.
Shaun East is a hospitality and hotel design specialist at Sibley Grove, an award-winning interior design and architectural studio. With over 16 years of experience delivering hospitality projects across the UK and internationally, Shaun brings a rare combination of hospitality design expertise and deeply personal insight to the subject of inclusive design.
His interest in designing for deaf and hard of hearing guests is rooted in lived experience. Deafness runs through his family as a hereditary condition, and watching its gradual impact, particularly on his father’s willingness and ability to enjoy public social spaces, has shaped how he thinks about hospitality design. Shaun also lives with tinnitus, giving him a direct understanding of how sound environments can either support or undermine a guest’s experience.
Shaun draws on his design practice, personal consultations with deaf and hard of hearing family members, along with a British Sign Language specialist. He has also researched into frameworks such as Gallaudet University’s DeafSpace principles to argue that designing for the invisible disability is not a compliance exercise, it is a mark of genuine hospitality craft.
Bradley Culmer leads the business development team at Fitzroy and has been instrumental from building the brand since day one. Dynamic, driven, and approachable, he is known for continually challenging the status quo—whether that’s enhancing customer experience or refining how proposals are delivered. With expertise in business development, account management, and networking, Bradley has worked with customers such as the Dorchester, Claridge’s and Rosewood. What Bradley enjoys most about his role is the opportunity to work with specifiers and clients to push boundaries every day—creating inspiring, inclusive bathroom spaces that deliver true “wow” moments. Seeing the tangible impact of these designs, particularly within premium hospitality, continues to drive his passion and reinforces his commitment to redefining these environments.
Dr Amy Kavanagh is an award winning disability activist and access professional. Amy is committed to celebrating disability, mobility aids and encouraging others to learn about the social model of disability. Her work includes consultancy, content creation and media, public speaking, training and facilitation. Amy advocates for disability equality and access in a wide variety of sectors. This includes public transport, digital inclusion, violence against women and girls, museums and the arts, LGBTQ+ rights and employment equality She uses social media to share her lived experience navigating the world as a blind Londoner and parent alongside her Guide Dog Ava. Amy is also a community builder and created an online inclusive space for disabled people during the pandemic to socialise and learn skills. Through her work as a disability and access consultant Amy has engaged with organisations including University of Oxford, Friends of the Earth, Sony, Living Streets, Govia Thameslink Railway, Wellcome Collection, LW Theatres, Greater Anglia, Brenford FC and the BBC.
