Fortner designs and builds furniture for long-term use in commercial spaces. Extending product life reduces the need to replace, creating value for our customers and the environment. Reduced waste manufacturing. We use CNC nesting programs for wood and fabric cutting to minimize material waste. Scrap fabric and wood are recycled or reused wherever possible. Reupholstery services. Before you replace, talk to Fortner. Reupholstering existing furniture extends product life and reduces waste. Sustainable Sourcing We build with commercial-grade materials suited to each project. When sustainability is a priority, we have the sourcing relationships to support it. We have sourced and worked with FSC-certified and NAF woods, natural fabrics, OEKO-Tex and GOTS certified textiles, and PVC-free or compostable vinyl options.
