Legacy Lounge Parent Guide

Welcome

Welcome to the Legacy Lounge! We are delighted to provide a safe, fun, and engaging space for our youngest members to play, create, and form lasting friendships while parents enjoy their time at the Club. Our goal is to ensure that children feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to return each time they visit. This guide has been designed to help you better understand our policies, programs, and expectations so that every experience is enjoyable for both you and your child.

The Legacy Lounge offers a variety of activities that cater to different ages and interests, from creative crafts and games to imaginative play and quiet reading. Our team works hard to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can explore, learn, and socialize. By providing a balance of structured and free play, we encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence building.

Safety is always our top priority. The Legacy Lounge is staffed by trained Family Activities Leaders who are committed to providing attentive supervision and care. To help us maintain a secure environment, we ask parents to review and follow the guidelines outlined in this guide. Together, we can ensure that the Legacy Lounge remains a safe and happy space for everyone.

We view the Legacy Lounge as an extension of the family-friendly spirit of our Club. Whether you are dropping off your child for a short visit or during a special event, our goal is to provide peace of mind for parents and a memorable experience for children. We look forward to partnering with you to create joyful experiences for your family each time you visit.

Sincerely,

Kids Club

Policies + Procedures

Members must remain on property while their children are in Kids Club unless otherwise noted in the event details.

Only members and those specifically designated by a member may sign-out and pick-up children from Kids Club.

Due to food allergies, snacks and meals brought from home will not be permitted in the Legacy Lounge unless prearranged with the Family Activities Director.

Toys, games, and craft supplies will be provided by the activity leaders; please take caution when bringing toys from home. Label those items with the child’s name if possible. The Club is not responsible for toys that become damaged or are left behind.

Sick children will not be permitted to attend Kids Club. This includes elevated temperatures or visible symptoms of sickness (vomiting, excessive runny nose or coughing, rash). If a child becomes sick while in Kids Club, the member will be asked to come pick up their child.

Children must be 3 years of age and bathroom independent to attend Kids Club. If a bathroom accident should occur, the child’s parent/grandparent will be notified and expected to leave their Club activity to come take care of the accident.

Kids Club Fees

The cost for Kids Club is: $30 for the first child + $25 for each additional child within the same family. This fee includes dinner. There will be a $30 per child cancellation fee if a Kid’s Club reservation has not been canceled within 24 hours of the event and the child or children do not show.

Family Night

Family Nights are held every Thursday from 5:30 pm - 8 pm in the Legacy Lounge and Forsyth Grill. Bingo is held the first Thursday of the month from September through May in the Forsyth Grill from 5:45 pm - 8:00 pm. Families are invited to participate in weekly activities in the grill or Legacy Lounge before or after dinner at the Club.

Children younger than 3 are welcome with adult supervision. Prior to attending Family Night activities, please discuss within your family if your children will be participating before or after meal time. While there will be Family Activities staff present to monitor, please ensure that your children are not running to and from the activity area or engaging in horseplay in the hallways.

2. Redirection – The child will be asked to participate in another activity.

3. Time with an activity leader – The child will participate in a one-on-one activity with one of the activity leaders.

4. Family Activities Director notification - The FA Director will be contacted and will provide alternative approaches to redirect misbehaviors.

5. Parent notification – The FA Director/Assistant Director will make contact with a parent/grandparent (by phone or in person) in order to determine a solution to the misbehavior.

6. Removal from childcare – In the event the child cannot control their misbehavior and does not respond to the first five steps, the parent will be asked to remove the child from childcare for the remainder of the night.

In the event of a medical emergency, all efforts to contact the parent will be made; however, 911 will be called immediately. In the interim, the FCC Emergency Team will control the situation.
